It seems like Wegs is starting to promote more loss-leaders. Did you read the little article in this week's flyer? It said that even though they think their consistent prices are better they will be putting "seasonal items" on sale.

My store had the summer merchandise on clearance last week. I got some party napkins and plates for about 0.50 ea.

Oh wow, that is awesome that the summer merchandise is on clearance already! Thanks for the info. Wegmans is one of those stores that I don't always hit every week. And I have been gone camping until today. I will have to make a trip up to Wegmans tom evening when my truck is done and check for clearance! I have friends over often and camp, so I can always use plates and napkins!
