I thought I had this WG shopping down and was doing really well until tonight. I went in and did two different transactions.

The first one I did the phenom razor and chapstick, got the $6 and $2 RR's no problem.

The second transaction I had several items, and am going off of memory because the manager had to keep my receipt. It went something like this:

3 bags of Hershey candy 6.xx
Childrens Malox 5.xx
Seoul razors 5.xx
WG band aids 2.xx

Total was about $18.xx


Used Hershey's ES -1.00
Man. Q -1.50

Childrens's Malox ES -3.00
Man. Q -1.00

Seoul razor ES -1.00
Man. Q -1.00


Total was $9.xx

Gave her my $6 and $2 RR's and they would not work. She tried to manually enter the $6 one as a Man. Q but it wouldn't work. She voided my whole order and rerang everything and it still wouldn't work. Called the manager over and he couldn't get it to work, left to call someone else, came back and said it had something to do with my other Q's and asked if I could pay the total and then he would refund the razor's, which were $5.99. I said that was fine and he ended up refunding me $6.50 because of tax. I didn't even try to mess with the $2 RR because a $3 oop was not bad.

So what happen? Did I do something wrong? Any help would be great!

Did they try to scan the RR first? That has happened to me before...the RR wouldn't scan. So the cashier ended up voiding the transaction and ringing everything up again. The second time she scanned my RR first, then my other Q's...it worked that way. Hope this helps!

Only thing I can see is that you had 6 items and 7 coupons(counting the RR)??????????

I'm kinda new to WAG, but I know at CVS that would beep.... so maybe you needed a filler item???

Just my guess.....

I have had the same problem and it was because I had more coupons than items. They told me a RR was considered a mc. So I grabbed a couple .10 pencils and they went through fine. Hope this helps.

I also tried to use a $6 RR today at my Walgreens and it wouldn't work, no matter what we did! My $2 RR however worked as long as I didn't try to use them on the Sunsilk. I had 3 separate transactions and the $6 wouldn't work on any of them. My favorite checker said it had been like that all day! Who knows....
