Yesterday I went to Super 1 to take advantage of a few sales they were running. They had power ade for .79 a bottle and if you purchased 10, you got 5 free. Good deal, had 6 .30 off q's for the Strawberry Lemonade flavor, making the deal even sweeter. I couldn't find the Strawberry Lemonade flavor on the shelves(they were out)so I asked the Assistant Mgr. to help...he didn't. Oh well, I will just track it down myself. I found them got 6 of that flavor and 9 others. Proceded to finish my shopping...got a few more items with IP's for them. When I went to check out, the cashier said"Sorry, you can't use coupons on sale items."I smiled and told her that you can and could she please ask the manager. Well, the manager that wouldn't help me came over and said, yes you can use q's on sale items, but I can't use the q's because they are for Strawberry Lemonade, and they don't carry it. I said "Yes sir you do" and held up a bottle. At this point they just take the q's and comment on my savings as being really good. I just thought it was really weird, it was as if they had never seen a coupon in their life!

maybe they hadn't seen a coupon before LOL

I've heard that line before..it's usually from someone not wanting to be bothered..my last comment was the day before easter at a craft store that was marking down their easter candy..pulled out the great brachs coupons and proceeded to buy a bunch to fill last minute hunting eggs..no, you can't buy on sale and use a coupon...fine..then you can keep them..they were muttering..well, they are on sale anyway..I told them the manufacturer is trying to get the product into my hands and will pay the value plus handling..they do not care what I paid for the item...so they can keep them..and tomorrow/Monday they will be marking them down even more..theyhad boxes and boxes of them...

no worries, I went across the parking lot to CVS where they had a sale & took the Qs
