Tell us the main reason you coupon.

cause I love the fact that I can get it cheaper (or even FREE) than next person in line to casher!!

I get a complete thrill out if getting stuff for free or darn near free !!! When I get a good deal it gives me a great feeling and the cheese smile to match.

Can't buy anything without a coupon or a MIR. For the thrill of it - Yes / Helps financially - Yes. Win-Win situation.

My DD (17) knows now that if it is not on sale really cheap she doesn't get it unless I have a coupon. She uses it to her advantage though as she looks at walgreens flyer and then my coupons and says can I get some make-up it's on sale and I checked you have a coupon and RR. That gets me every time.

I coupon because I find it ridiculous for me to pay full price when I can just cut up a little piece of paper and get it for a whole lot less!!

I really have several main reasons as to why I coupon. I do it for the thrill, but I also do it so I can stay home in the summer with the kids and not work. I also do it so I can help donate.

I started cutting and saving all coupons because I had to. My dh lost his job of 9 years last June. Lost our home, vehicle and security. We didn't have much to begin with. Suffered for many months, did the best I could with the knowledge that I had about couponing and price matching....that was until I found AFC and all of the fabulous members here! We have a 2 and 4 year old. Our 2 year old is still in diapers and our 4 year old wears pull ups at night, diapers are expensive. Since learning all about CVS, the deals and coupons, we have not paid over a few dimes for many packs of diapers. Not to mention many of the other necessities. I hated buying razors, soaps, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoos, conditioners, laundry detergent, oh Lord, the list could just go on and on. But, since learning from the wonderful people here about CVS, we are set on those items for month's, if not years to come! This site and the people here have helped me more than you could ever know!
(Not to mention it is WAY FUN to walk out of store with 5 bags of things, knowing that I only paid about $.56 or so. I love the looks from the people behind me in line!!! It is sooooo much fun!!!!)

I have to cut coupons to stay afloat financially, but I know that even if I won the lottery I still would! I love to get a deal, it's my drug of choice!

I also do it because I have to. We were making about 33% more money when I was working, and even then, I hated to go buy groceries. I hated all that expense for something that would just be flushed down the toilet.
I am so glad I found this site! Now, I have more food than ever in my house (even though we make much less), I have a deep freezer full, and my cabinets have definitely perked up!

I like being able to afford several things in the pantry or bathroom closet so I don't have to run out and buy something every time a bottle runs out. I never felt like I could afford to have several items lined up when I did not coupon.

I also have more money for myself I have noticed. I usually spend it on the kids, but I recently went on a big shopping spree for myself (I think it was $125 or something, so probably not BIG to most people) and got 5 shirts and 3 pair of jeans. Now all th emoms at preschool are asking me hwo I lost so much weight. It's really just 15 lbs, so I just told them I finally bought clothes that fit. That is all thanks to COUPONS.
