I used a BOGO Hansens soda coupon and both Hansens did count. The BOGO's that did not count (for me in SoCal) were the one's in the ad or in store...ie. buy one Hormel Canned Chicken get one free and buy two Cheetos get one free.

Has anyone gotten it to print the $20 catalina?

My store is usually not a problem, and I got only a $10 one, but they ended up giving me $10 cash so not a big deal, but I will feel uncomfortable going back and doing it again.

I went today and did not get the results that I wanted. I bought
2 kleenex
3 Betty croker cake mixes
2 BC whipped icing
2 J&J body washes
1 Raid ant
4 bertolli pasta sauce
2 ragu pasta sauce
2 barilla plus pasta
1 lays chips
1 orowheat bread
3 cheerios cereals
1 Crest and
1 colgate toothpaste

I did not have time to go to customer service due to baby being fussy (real fussy). I called customer service from home and they just said to go to customer service at the store and they should be able to refund me.

I have done this deal 3 times and got my $20.00 cat everytime worked like a charm for me here ..I went at 10 pm tonight and got 25 Kleenex I even ask the manager if I could buy 25 at one time he said I don't care what you do so I got 25 and they had deli creations mark down for $2.29 I have a $1.00 off coupon and I also got the 6 pack of coke that is $1.49 this week I use 25 kleenex coupon's and the deli creation coupon's and he took off $2.00 on the doubler I used my $20.00 cat .. so I ended up paying $6.00 something for everything .and got another $20.00 cat to use for the sale staring wed hope something good is in it I love this deal ..
I have enough kleenex and ragu to last until 2014 LOL

It has happened to me twice already. They just wrote $20.00 on my coupon and signed it. The next time I used it they just manually entered $20.00 off. I had no problems.

I have done the deal twice now- getting a $20 cat both times. I even tried the BOGO free Hansens Q and a few other Free Qs I had- thanks to triciadoll's post. Everything went through great and my total went from $90 down to $20- plus the $20 cat Q. (that includes a few gallons of milk too)
This time I got:

I am on my 5th run, my oops have been at $14.00 to $17.00. I used up all my Hansen b1g1f, Trident, Spray/max, Jolly Time (link off **********), Sierra mist b1g1f (link off **********), grabbed a bunch of Olympic books and working my way through Kleenex, Keebler coupons. In the Olympic book there also is a Safeway Select cookie coupon which is included in the marathon. I have not figured out the best deal for the meat? My safeway stores do not have meat marked. Im not going to ask CS because I think I know more about the Summer Marathon than they do! Got my $20 cat each time no prob. Wish I could get my oops down but im buying things I need. Good luck everybody, I will be visiting Safeway daily for awhile!

My second trip last night resulted in a $10 cat rather than a $20...funny thing is I bought 26 items ALL with blue tags on them. I made sure NOT to buy anything that didn't have the tag and I watched closely that I didn't count anything that was a bogo. So I knew I had it right this time...well NO. Out pops the $10 cat and the cashier was so excited for me, but the look on my face must have been pure disappointment! She directed me to the manager. Let me say he was frazzled before he even got to me. So I explain I bought 26, all blue, etc. He said I must not have qulaified, I must have misunderstood the promo, I must have come twice in one day, I must NOT KNOW WHAT I'M DOING (yes that came from his mouth), I am wasting his time....and those are only the statements I can remember. I wasn't leaving until I walked the store with him or he gave me $10. So he finally gave me a $10 gift card and said ARE YOU HAPPY NOW! And I said NO NOT UNTIL THIS PROMO ACTUALLY WORKS WITHOUT AGGREVATION! I'm calling Vons and the Catalina company later today to voice my frustration.

I bought ragu deli creations , hansen , 6 packs of coke,
I had coupons for everything I even had bogof for the handsen and they counted that as 2 each time..
I bought 25 kleenex last night and use the .50 cent off coupon's ..but next week looks like nothing worth going to get so I will stay home and save some money finally

I returned to the store's customer service and they gave me $10 cash.

I went to Vons today to get my products for the Summer Savings Marathon promotion. I decided to throw in 2 bottles of Windex Vinegar cleaner. They are B1G1 free and there was a .75 peelie on it. At check out, not only did I get my $20 cataling for the Summer Savings promotion, but I also got a catalina for $1.50 oynso from Windex. Bonus!

Has any one had any sucess doing back to back orders? I'd love to be able to buy 2 orders at once, so that I can roll my catalina..and save myself a lot of time & gas money. We have to drive a good distance to shop at Safeway.

Also, if you divide 25 items by $20 it comes to $.80. So anything 80 cents or less will be free, after applying catalina. Items that cost a $1.00 will cost 20 cents oop after applying catalina.

Yep- only one per day. You would not get a catalina Q on the 2nd transaction.

It is one per day, I thought I would try it with my favorite checker, the $20 wouldn't scan. She put it in as a store coupon and said you can only do 1 per day.

I'm not a tofu guy but they had 3 different types in the deli section by the cheese that are on the deal and are $1 each, so anyone wanting .20 tofu can go to town hehe.

Also keep an eye out for Athenos Pita chips, they are on the special and are on sale for $1.50, there is a tear pad above them that has .55 coupons, makes them .15 each, and yes I am now the proud owner of 50 bags
