Unhappy Vons,Pavilions will only double to $1
So bummed this morning. Read in the paper that as of Aug 20th, here in So Cal at least, Vons will no longer double coupons over .51 cents, they will double to $1. So a .75 cent off coupon will get another .25 but a $1 coupon will get nothing over.

I was really afraid this was going to happen when Ralphs changed their coupon policy.

I just saw this on the news! omg this sucks so bad the ONLY reason I shop at Vons is for the double coupons. I guess I won't be going there anymore I'll stick to Stater Bros they have lower prices anyways

I am with you!!! who wants to shop at Vons or Ralphs if your not getting great deals? The double coupons are what kept their customers not their LOW prices...we will shop at all the other stores that at least have the LOW prices!!! Well, they will have to learn the hard way I guess. I quit Ralphs as soon as they stopped doulbling and I am pretty sure that I am not the only one now goodbye to Vons as well.

I just heard today about this too. Sucks, but oh well. I think they are both still cheaper than Albertsons though, which is the only other store near me.

Oh Shoot! That stinks! I was rather irked (i.e. fuming mad) when Ralphs changed their policy. My only consolation was that Von's policy was still the same. UGGGGGGggggggg!

I am glad I saw this post the other night. I pulled out lots of my $1.50 and $1.00 coupons, waited till I had time the other night and cruised the aisles at Vons looking for sale match-ups to use some of them while they still doubled. Ended up with some good deals on the Beech-Nut baby foods and a few H &B products.

Arrrgghh! I just went today to Vons, I didn't even know about the policy change. Instead of saving $11, I saved $7. Most of my q's were $1 off or more.

Wow, this totally sucks. Double coupons is the only reason I shop at Vons.....guess it will be Stater's for me from now on. On up side, my Stater's has super sized carts which is nice with an infant carrier.
