No more double coupons! Our local Ralph's has stopped doubling coupons over $1 (meaning that they will only double up to $1 saved value total). I am so upset! Has your Ralph's stopped doubling coupons?

We don't have Ralph's here in Louisiana...but I did shop at one when we were in S. California in March. I would be crying in my soup if my stores doubled like that, then took it away! We get NO doubles here!!!

Hi, I am in Southern Ca. also and I just checked my Ralphs ad that runs from 6/4 - 6/10 and it states if a coupon exceeds a $1.00 only $1.00 will be doubled. So they still are here. I will be VERY upset if this changes. If it does change I will be taking all those higher value coupons to Vons to get them doubled!

The Ralphs ad here (El Cajon, CA.) says new coupon doubling example use a 35 cent off coupon it will be doubled to 70 cents, use a 75 cent coupon will only go to $1. Any coupon over $1.00 will be taken at face value of $1.00. The head of Kroger moved in to take over the Ralphs (last month) and he started this policy (as Kroger didnt double over $1.00) he put the same policy for Ralphs. I have noticed more traffic and shoppers at Vons and empty parking spaces at Ralphs. Poor business decision on his part.

Yeah I noticed that my Ralphs no longer doubles. I asked cashier last week and she explained the same thing. double up to $1. That stinks! luckily I have Vons that still doubles.

well, I'll have to call my ralph's to check , b/c I haven't shopped there in a couple weeks, von's has had better sales, but if that's the case... yep.. VON's may be farther away, but I"ll be going there... and I'll let them (raplh's) know that too... (PS I"m in North OC... anyone tried the Ralph's here yet?? I heard SD county stopped doubling a while ago..)

Hmm, I haven't seen next weeks ad yet, which starts tomorrow, but as of Sunday my $1 off coupons were still being doubled. I really hope this doesn't happen. They have already gone from not taking expires to only doubling 2 like coupons, then down to 1 like coupon. Are they trying to drive away their customer base??? I know we won't be shopping there much anymore if that is the case. We will drive farther to go to Pavillions for most things, especially coupon items! ![]()

They haven't changed mine yet but will soon.I'm in Diamond Bar and i was in Ralphs a couple days ago and the cashier said they're changing it later on this month to the new coupon policy.IT SUCKS.I will also go to Vons now.So it's just a matter of time before all the other Ralphs stores get changed too. ![]()

Wow - I hadn't heard of this yet and just shopped there yesterday and everything doubled fine. That will really suck if they change - I'd have to drive past 3 Ralphs to get to a Vons, which wouldn't really be a problem if that darn gas prices didn't keep going up!! I'll keep an eye out for it.

This stinks! I just checked my ad that came today. You are right it will go into effect 6/25. I am very unhappy about this. I will be taking the majority of my business to Pavillions. Maybe if enough people shop elsewhere they will consider changing back. I remember when Vons/Pavillions stopped doubling coupons and that didn't last very long. I am sure that they had a sharp drop in sales and they went back to double coupons. With the economy they way it is we need to save every way we can. Shame on Ralphs.

I got my flyer in the mail today, and there's a blurb on the front and the back of the flyer saying that they would be enforcing 'limited double coupons'. Looks like Ralph's just lost me as a customer.

Didn't you think their new ad looked a little strange too? There were a few good deals, but most of the ad are items you probably wouldn't have coupons for anyway (like meat and produce). I thought it was interesting.

It's True! I read this board yesterday and ran out last night w/ my hubby to use most of my double coupons. Between the 2 of us, we saved $191.00 (2 orders), it was great!! However, as we were checking out a nice cashier informed us of the change. She said the new Predident made the change so that they'd be like the other Kroger stores. Needless to say, she was not happy because she herself is an avid coupon shopper. I was also watching on the news last night that in place of the double coupons, they have the new "Rewards Card" which is supposed to save us $. HEllO?? Double coupons are what save me $. Well, I guess I'll be like the rest and join you @ Vons!

GRRRRRR! I haven't been to Ralphs in a couple months because I've been in the middle of a move. Now I likely won't be going back. I LOVED shopping there with my coupons and seeing what I could save. Blah, blah and more blah. I wonder if there's some kind of petition we could all sign, or write letters of complaint or something?
