Just to let everyone know that this is a legit coupon. I have gotten about 50 boxes of tea and have given them away as gifts (about 10 to each person).

does the coupon actually scan? or do they have to type it in?

HollyHobby 06-29-2005 10:56 AM

I remember it from before but still wondered if it would scan or you had to use live cashier?

Can't use printable frees at my store. :(

HollyHobby 06-29-2005 11:46 AM

I don't know I didn't even bother to try. It wasn't worth it to me.

riffparker 06-30-2005 10:06 AM

Yeah-ah, I get double vision, ooh...

They didn't laugh at all when I claimed to be Harry Dean Stanton and needed a real one mailed to me. :biglaugh:

Your little late Sam I already posted it!

I used about 6 of them at Walgreens, 3 at Target and 4 at my Cub. No one even read the very bottom of it. I can still use this one though for about 3 more months at my Cub. :)

monica 06-30-2005 11:24 AM

Karen, can you pretty please tell me if your coupon actually scanned? lol

Kmchamplin 06-30-2005 01:14 PM

Nope it will not scan for me. My printer is an epson stylus though. I do not put the printer on it's finest though either. I do a quick print.

They just put it in as a manufacturer coupon.

I've had trouble with this coupon. Apparently it's hard to scan, and when the cashier enters the UPC manually, it takes off $1.50!

Pretty hard to get the cashier to understand that that's not the way it's supposed to work...

I have been able to correct them though and get about 3 boxes free. That's enough to last me a couple of months. :)

The very first one I printed scanned fine...

Tonite I took ten to Kroger. First the teenage boy told me "This is printed." I nodded and told him I know it is...but that's ok. Then, he looked at them and said, "Its a fake, they all have the same barcode." My neice snatched two coke coupons from the stack he had scanned and said, "so do these...are they fake?" So after that he shut up and manually entered them.

Kmchamplin 07-01-2005 07:50 AM

Wow...you're telling me that all coupons should have a different bar code? Wouldn't that be a mess? What an idiot?!?

Of course he missed the part where it said "Limit one coupon per person". DUH!

RainJ 07-01-2005 07:52 AM

None of the coupons that i had scanned and they all just entered the manually i guess that i just got luck because i actually used all of mine at WM even though they have gotten alot stricted about there coupons i usually go through a line where there is a friendly cashier that i know has taken my coupons before and i never seem to have a problem. Im keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way for my when they get the new Super Walmart opened up that they are building.
