Help Sign Price mistake in ad?

What would you do?

Tomorrow's ad states "Kellogg's 12 pack 2 for $5" in the picture, it's a 6 pack, and the size listed says 4.6-4.87 oz, which is also the 6 pack. Is their picture wrong or the description? I have $1 off q's, which would make the $1.50 for a box of 12 which is fabulous. If it's a mistake and they really meant 6 packs , 2 for $5, can I argue? What usually happens in a case like this? Are they required to honor it as long as there's no "We apologize" sign up? I plan on going first thing in the morning when the sale kicks in after I drop DH off at train station.

Thoughts?

Hehe, no problem. I'm just wondering if there's no sign if they're required to honor their ad... just read the small print which says "not responsible for typographical errors".... hmm... oh well, I can give it a try i guess

Most stores around me just put an apology on the shelf next too the product in question and say it was a print error and don't honor the ad.

it's a mistake and it's called ''false advertising'' now it's also a ymmv deal

good manager will give you deal and make a notice and put it next to the ad or infront of the cashiers.

bad manager will say - too bad we don't carry/wnat to give you that.

if you get there before anything is posted - legally you should get it as many as you want if there's no limit. but if you get there and there's already a notice or someone is already telling you before you get in the line that it's a mistake you can't fight it .. they corrected it before you paid !!

Hope this Helps!!!!

Went 1st thing this morning and got 4 boxes... they rang up full price and I showed the cashier the ad and she called customer service and they hadn't gotten an official word yet on the typo from corporate, so she marked them down for me and I had 4 $1 off coupons, so I got 4 boxes of 12 for $6!
