I just printed off some new mealbox q's and I noticed on the bottom of every one of them it now says limit 1 per transaction. My old mealbox q's don't say that. I wonder if people getting greedy has caused a problem with Meijer now.

Wow I did not notice that. i just printed 4 to get the B2G2 Tilapia for $1 a bag. Guess that's not gonna happen now.

That's what I printed for tomorrow. I'll give it a try, it just makes me really mad because people who go overboard ruin it for all of us.

I'm going to try it tomorrow also. Good luck to both of us! If everybody starts limiting coupons or not accepting them because of fraud it is going to be a really sad day.

Meijers has their own printables on their website, they are called meijer mealbox coupons

multiple transactions then - my store is never busy - especially in the self check outs - it will be a bit of a pain - but sitll worth the savings.

I agree worth the savings, but not worth going thru 50 or 60 times.

I know, people that go overboard makes me so mad! I try to buy stuff that my family will use and I get denied because of people buying 100's of it before me. They couldn't care less all they think about is them selves. I'll leave it at that... I don't want to be in a bad mood thinking about it...

Bummer... I wish they would at least say 2 like mealbox per transaction. That would be reasonable for most people, but time consuming for those trying to take advantage of the savings. I guess I'll just be glad so long as they keep them coming!

Oh yeah that was just what i was thinking, especially if things are free.

This is so sad..I loved getting the fish at such a great deal, but don't feel I ever overused the coupons either. As you may know there are other sites similar to this one and is how I first got started. One recently in our area has just exploded in the last few months. It cost money though so I did not stay with it because it cut into my savings having to pay the fee. Anyhow my point is there were many that went crazy like you mentioned and it has almost become and obsession with some to see how many they can get. Our area is near the corporate offices so I am sure they caught on quickly with the huge faze here. The membership went up over 5-6 thousand in two months alone. I talked with my friends then already and said it would crash if this keeps up. Sad, but kudos to meijers for offering mealbox deals for as long as they did.

What did they think was going to happen when they issue a 50c coupon off pasta simultaneously with a 50c pasta sale?

That was a "too hot to not stock" price and that's what happened. 50c off 50c no limit was ridiculous and the result was just as such.

If it had been a 25c coupon, does anyone here think that certain shoppers would still have bought these in quantities of 200-500 boxes? Probably not.

Now they state "one coupon per transaction". WTF? They might as well put the coupons directly in the flyer (like Dominick's, et. al.) and save us all the hassle of printing them and cutting them out.

Again, this all Meijer's own fault. And to Meijer I say this: grow up.

i tend to agree with parts of this statement. i thin kit is there right to limit coupons so i am not gonna complain. however not only did they have the pasta on sale at the same time they had that q out, but the meal box actually matches the q to the sale right there for thos not smart enough to figure out a deal on their own....if i had hungry mouths to feed and there was a coupon for free groceries i would sure as heck stock up. isn't that the point?

meijer does not want you to make 60 different transactions. that is just a way to get around the wording.

Went to my Meijer's today and they have enforced the 1 mealbox q per transaction. I was trying to get 4 of the Meijer's brand pasta sauce (2 for me, 2 for mom) that would be .50 after the coupon. Next time I'll know to go to U-Scan and do them as separate transactions. My mom is on a fixed income so I like to get her things when they're a good price also and surprise her.
