For the first time this week I had the two Krogers where I shop limit double/triple coupons. I had eight 25 cent coupons for Kroger cheese - which my stores will triple. Their cheese was on sale 10/$10 so I was going to get 8 packages for 25 cents each - I thought. First store I scanned all 8 and it only tripled the first 3. They said it was because there was a limit of 3 that they would triple. Went to the next store - where they always double/triple whatever I give them and tried to buy 5. Same thing. Cashier didn't even understand why and did an override - but if I hadn't been watching for it I wouldn't have realized what happened.

I've read elsewhere that is happening, esp. in TX - so far here they still have to override by hand, but it may have changed since the last time they did super doubles/triples was in Nov.! I think you can do three sep. transactions per day w/ your card, a PITA, but we do what we have to do!

No triples here but so far no limits here! God I don't need another limit store!

We get triple through .39 and double .40 through .50 - at least for now.
