Kroger - GDA? - CBA and Movie Tickets!

I hope I figured this out right!

Kroger CBA $1 a can this week. It is alsp part of their Spend $25 and get a free Movie Ticket promo. There is also a MIR from the Sunday Insert for up to 6 tickets. Send in 6 proof of purchase and CRT

The $.35/3 coupons are actually $.35/2 in the barcode If your Kroger Triples $.35 (mine doesn't) This is an even better deal for you!

Purchase 48 cans Chef = 48.00 (you'll need to buy something small/cheap to make up the $2 or buy 2 more cans etc whatever)
Minus coupons $.35/3 ($.35/2) - $16.80 ($25.20 if you get triples)
Total spent = $31.20 ($22.80 if you get triples)

This gets you 8 movie tickets (2 from Kroger, 6 from Chef) and 48 cans of pasta. It's not a super deal but if your movie ticket nut and eat CBA anyway If I do this deal I will be trading the movie Tickets away

I don't think I can do the CBA thing again,I just ate the last can from last years about 2 weeks ago for lunch with jaelynn.
but here and hopefully elsewhere on the 25.00 total for kroger and the movie tickets
gatorade is part of this at .80 a bottle and there are 1.00/5 coupons floating around that are coded for 3
oreos are 2.65 with the .35 off in SS last week and a 1.00 off when you buy milk that's pretty cheap, speaking of the 1.00 off when you buy milk. The chips a'hoy are 2.00 off.
pepsi are .79 2 litre and 6 packs of the 1/2 litre are 2.00
assorted doritos and fritos are 2.00.private selection coffee is part of this. It's really scattered thru out the store tho.Like some kellogg's cereals and rice krispy treats are part of this, but some aren't.Unless they just havn't put all the pink stickers up yet.

The only problem with the Kroger movie tickets is that you only have a week or two to use them! They are VERY short dated. Other than that, great deal if you can work it...

I STILL have about 10 cans left from last year - the boys don't really like it that much. Next food drive I think it'll go!

I eat CBA. DS won't touch anything with tomato gravy on it. B, I didn't know that about the short dates. I might look in to the exp date before I actually do it.

I did one last year and it seemed like it only had about a 60 day redemption period on it if that. That's right B,they are shortdated. Thanks for reminding me,I may get one,but no more.I've got 18.00 towards this, but last year I only spent a few dollars for them and it doesn't look as good this time. There are some good items on this, but I don't really have the coupons to justify spending the money on stuff we really don't need.I am however going to get pampers for the walgreens movie tickets.Got a raincheck last week and asked the manager to order an extra case.
I did the pfizer one for the first time last month.Went to walmart and bought 3 packs of sudafed.Tennessee has a law now about sinus medicine and you can only get it at the prescription counter.I wasn't even sure if they would sell me 3 packs or not and took the rebate form with me to show them I was buying 3 packs for movie tickets. She said I could only buy up to 3 packs in 30 days.Had to show my drivers license and everything.I was going to do another one,but sudafed is the only thing I was considering to get on this rebate. Then I get home and fill out the form only to see what PARTICIPATING store did I buy this at.I sent it in anyway.I guess I'll be stuck with about a 6 month supply of sinus medicine and a rejected movie form rebate in a few weeks. :hah:
I've seen these forms traded all over the place and even for sell on ebay and noone ever said anything about it had to be from participating stores. It was an impulse thing for me to do the reabte and never even read any threads about this.

I'm doing the Walgreen's one too - we never use the movie tickets, but good for trading & I need the pampers anyway!

The Pfizer forms aren't too bad, basically, anywhere you'd usually shop for bargains is out! CVS, Kroger, KMart, Walgreen's, Wal-Mart, can't remember the others. You can usually call the 800 # on it to get the list of NON participating stores. I use them at a local grocery store where I usually can find the forms - they have pretty good sales with coupons, so still a good deal.

Maybe your processor won't be paying attention that day!
