| coupons at kroger- how does it work? Okay so I have a 55 cents off coupon for Angel soft. Will that double up to a dollar? Or since it is over 50 cents I`m out of luck? I haven`t couponed at Kroger much so I`m unsure of how it works.... ![]() |

| Hi! At our Kroger her in KY they only double up to face value of .50. So, if you have a coupon is for .40 you get .80 off the total. However, a coupon for .55 will only be redeemed at face value. This is why I suspect so many are for .55. |

They've recently started doing like Tom Thumb where they only triple/double the first coupon, so I've heard. I'm not sure that all Krogers are enforcing this. You'll have to do a test run through one of the lines and find out, or use the u-scan if they allow you to scan your own coupons there. HTH |

| The Kroger where I shop at in Cedar Hill does have a sign posted at the u-scans that they will only double/triple one like coupon, but as of last week the u-scan has been doubling/tripling 3 like coupons. I had three of one coupon that beeped at me, and the cashier on duty at the u-scan doubled all three of them. So I think it's definitely YMMV. I think it's only a matter of time before the computers are fixed to only allow 1 like coupon per transaction. |
