Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios (12.25oz) are on sale this week for $2.50 each. Tons of General Mills cereal boxes had $1.00 manufacturer peelie coupons good $1 off, making the Cheerios $1.50/box. The peelies are hot pink with black lettering.

Several varieties of Kelloggs (such as Rice Krispies) and Quaker (PB Capt'n Crunch) are also on sale $2 but you'll have to bring your own coupons for these

They also just started clearancing a bunch of cereal - not a lot off yet but if your kids are into Chocolate Lucky Charms and such, an OK deal when combined with the $1 peelies. Looked like regular priced $3.69-$4.49 were now marked $3.00 so you could get your Choc Lucky Charms for $2 with the $1 coupon.

Between last week and this week, I've got 50 boxes of unopened cereal in my stockpile - none of which cost me more than $1.13 per box........

I won't have to buy cereal until next summer - I only wish hubby was as happy about that as I am...... I don't think he's impressed with my cereal stockpile...

were these other clearence items on the shelf with the other stock or in a special place ?

The clearance boxes were on the regular shelf with the rest of the cereal.

The regular shelf didn't have any more of the Honey Nut Cheerios but I did find an endcap with all of the sale priced cereal that still had some left.

I checked my Kmart and they didnt have no peelies on them, Oh man.
