JCPenney always prints out a code on your receipt to fill out a survery. When you fill it out, you will get 15% off your next purchase. Doesn't matter if it's sale, clearance, green ticket, or whatever. These are better than the promotions JCP sometimes has, because you don't have to put your purchase on your JCP card and you're not restricted to non-clearance merchandise.

Here's an idea on how to get a 15% off coupon if you don't have a receipt with code: Buy a gift card! And you will save yourself a lot of aggravation if you fib with your online survey. No matter what, always select that your reason for going into the store was to buy a gift card... Your coupon comes up immediately and you won't have to answer a zillion questions. I remeber when I first discovered this... What a timesaver!!

And I always print off several coupons after filling out the survey. They have an expiration date of 30 days from the day of the survey. JCP doesn't assign a special barcode to each coupon, you can keep using them until they expire. I have printed off several coupons at a time and redeemed them all throughout a 30-day period without any problems.

Right now JCP has 50% clearance going on, and you can save another 15% with the coupon! I'm holding off from going in there until the Green Event in February though, when they start selling clothes at garage sale prices!

i went yesterday and picked up 35 items they were half off green ticket made them 1.48 each used my 15% off made them 1.26 each i spent 47.00

and ..... i saved 930.00

Wow. My local JCP stores don't really have a green ticket inventory right now. So I have to wait for a fresh new batch of green ticket markdowns.

I did that for my first trip to JCP and had one cashier that wouldn't accept the coupon because those have been scanned and their barcode reader can't read those barcodes. I took my stuff to a different department and they accepted it. First she asked "is this a coppied coupon?" and I said, "no I printed it on my printer." then she pushed it through. So I guess I'm just warning you that YMMV with the ********** coupon.

I'm going back today with the coupon I got when I filled out my survey from the last trip (I printed 10 of them...figured I'd share them with my friends) hehe.

I've been known to buy and save for xmas. Last year I got king size electric blankets for 29.77, regular price was $199.99. I put them away and gave them as xmas presents this year. Same with fleece/down throws and other household items. Sometimes I'll even do Nike or Sports team shirts in a size larger than they currently wear. One year they had diaper bags for 3.77. I couldn't think of anyone who was having a baby...now this year I know 4 people (not including myself). I'll be checking the JCP that's the next city over today. Their stuff isn't as picked over as ours...and I printed out LOTS of coupons so I'm all set. hehe

Anyone know if these deals are over with, or still going on?

They're still going on here!! I stopped again and got a couple snow suits for a girlfriend for $5 each and a pair of cz earrings for $2.50. They had some other things but a lot of it has been picked over. They had men's big/tall leather arizona jeans jackets for $15 I almost bought one for my dad...but he would have complained. haha.
