There is a HY-VEE coupon in the ad I got today (in missouri) - Buy 2 participating General Mills cereals and get TWO FREE!!

Good deal - especially if you have a coupon good on any of them as well.

Okay so there I was in the EXPRESS lane...line is held up because of who knows what....An elderly lady was behind me..and she was irritated (what's the hold up? she asks - I say "IDK") - Then I tell her you can go in front of me, you've only got one item. "No honey, I'm ok" - I say "But I've got coupons" - "No thank you honey, I'll be fine". Alright, Have it your way. So Everythings going great...Had one A1 sauce get questioned but no big deal. I had the right size...
Then it's like...dead stop....blink....light goes on...phone gets picked up..."so and so to reg 8" - I thought "OMG...this lady behind me is gonna go ape poop..."....."Is there a problem?" No, you've just reached the max in coupons before we have to call a manager for over-ride! WHAT??? I'm thinking - I've only got 8. Apparently I hit the $20.00 in savings mark. tsk-tsk. So they get it over-ridden..then BLINK...the light goes on again..."Oh, no, another problem?" - Yes, she forgot to hit the enter button and put her code in. - UUUGH....now I just KNOW the sweet little lady behind me is going to hurt me - so I say "You SEE, I told you you should've gone first" - She says Nothing. The cashier says real loud "WOW, you saved MORE than your bill!" - I said "yeah, that's why I do it, thanks!"

Here's what I got:

4 Boxes General Mills Cereal (approx $3.00+ each)
1 Bottle A1 Steak Sauce ($2.56)
1 pound Ground Beef ($3.97)
1 Bottle Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce ($1.97)
1 Gallon of Milk (dang expensive!) ($3.99)
1 bag frozen veggies ($2.59)
1 16 oz bottle diet pepsi (all that waiting made me thirsty!) ($1.29 or something)
3 boxes of ELECTRASOL ($4.28 each)

All for just $20 and some change.

I saved OVER $25.00

OH, AANNND..I qualified for .05 OFF each gallon of gas!!!!

P.S. I'll admit...I was looking over my shoulder for that lady in the parking lot
