I just saw on another board that HT in VA (so hopefully here in NC) will be doing triples the weekend of the 4th. That's all I know. So ya'll start snooping around your stores and see if we can confirm. The mail will not be delivered on Friday so we'd have to order our coupons early. It would be nice, but I'd pick another weekend!

OHhhh please!! I have so many coupons that I would love to use but I just think sometimes that 1.25 is to much to pay for hotdogs. I would rather get them for .50 hahaha I just have to be frugal.

Are you talking about the Hebrew National? They are SOOOOOO good! BUT they are high. We hardly eat hotdogs here, so it's worth it to stock up for a cookout.

As for the Hebrew Nationals, I agree that they are expensive, but they are worth it! I do Weight Watchers and their 97% fat free kind are only 1 point each!!! And, they taste great! I am very picky about things like that, in fact I cannot stand the reduced fat or fat free Ballpark. I highly recommend the Hebrew National! Even my DH will eat them!

Ok, I'm new to the whole coupon thing but is the deal with the triples? Is there a max limit on the coupon? And one more dumb question but does HT stand for HARRIS TETER? Just want to make sure. LOL

HT has triples every few months for 3 days, usually Thursday, Friday, Saturday. They triple up to 20 coupons per transaction, with a face value of .99 cents or less. For more info on their coupon policies, check the stickied thread here:

Thanks. I tried to PM you but can't. I have one more question. If the coupon is 1.00 off, does that mean they will not triple it?

They don't triple $1 coupons, just up to and including .99 (though I've only seen one for that amt once). The best coupons are the .75/1 type since they'll triple to $2.25.

Another thing to add, my stores here will only triple 4 'like' coupons. Some stores only do 3 from what I hear. I'm able to make up to 5 trips on one store card/day and after that they'll only double. What I do, is buy 4 each of 5 different items every time I go through the line. HTH!

Hebrew Nationals are the only hot dogs we'll eat here too! Think about it...they're kosher. No weird parts in those dogs. Just yummy goodness! $1.25/pack is a good price - I bought 16 pkgs!

I get Cooks Illustrated magazine...kinda like Consumer Reports for food. Anyway they ranked Hewbrew Nationals as the #2 brand for flavor. The #1 was a local (to Maine) brand...
