Brookshires (has locations in Arkansas and Louisiana that I know of) is doing away with their generic brand Hy-Top.
Everything in their stores that is Hy-Top brand is 50% off. Their new generic brand will be Food Club, many items have already been replaced with the new brands - like neither of mine in El Dorado had any Hy-Top crackers (generic of saltines), and

no canned peas or green beans, they're already gone.
Mine did have: cereals, juices, coffee, cake mixes, frosting, cornbread mix, pancake mix, popcorn, cans of mixed vegetables, cans of diced tomatoes, cans of chicken broth, cans of pumpkin, cans of cranberry sauce, jars of marshmallow, panburger partner (generic of Hamburger Helper), macaroni & cheese, pastas, spaghetti sauce, fajita seasoning, nuts, bleach, trashbags, coffee filters, ice cream, tater tots, and frozen vegetables.
I just spent $100 (I never do that!), but my cabinets are bursting at the seams now, and a few of these things I won't need to buy again for years!
**If you have a Brookshires, I'd check it out!
One hint, rather than do math- which I dislike- if the tag says 3 for 99 cents (cans of chicken broth), I told myself that's 6 for 99 cents. I know 99 cents is easy to figure, but some prices aren't as easy to do mentally.
