Anyone from the S.Carolina area have a preference as far as which store has better pricing or coupon use?? I am going to Hilton Head in 3 weeks and we will be staying in a Villa and need to do food shoppoing when I get there..

I am not in SC, but I live about 45 min from HH (go there all the time) and I prefer Publix. I don't know a lot about Harris Teeter other than the few times I went they were expensive, every once in a great while they run triple coupons but that is rare.
Publix has really good sales, they will double up to 50 cents and take competitors coupons (which is always nice)
You will also be close to a Piggly Wiggly and a Kroger is within a short distance (off island but not too far) So that will give you a few more options, and I knwo both of those also double up to 50 cents, I believe the Kroger has a gas station there so you can use the fuel perks. And if you dont' have a Kroger or a Piggly Wiggly card you can get a guest card, you won't get the fuel perks but I don't think you have to register for one. Hope that helps (oh and there is a target just off island, a walmart on island, and a super walmart about 10 miles off island)

Thanks, this is my 4th trip there..I always hit the Target and Walmart there they seem to have much better cleareance, I guess due to the weather diff from NY they always have great winter items left over..

Harris Teeter -- doubles up to 0.99, not $1

I know where I live (TN) Harris Teeter is very high. I went when they were doing tripple coupons and still had a hard time finding items that would be a good deal.
