Last night I went to use up some of my coupons that were about to expire. I went to Walmart to get some Peter Pan peanut butter because it was $1 last week. This week it was marked up to $1.78!!! I was so disappointed because I just got a bunch of coupons and wanted to get them free. Then I remembered my grocery store was having a 10/$10 sale on a bunch of items. Sure enough, the PB was on sale for $1.

Here's what I got:
12 Peter Pan peanut butter @ $1 ea.
4 Purina Carvers @ $2.79 ea.
3 Purina Carvers @1.39 ea. (the beef flavor was clearanced)
4 Cheerios snack mix @$1 ea.

Total: $31.33

Q's used:
7 Free Purina Carvers
12 $1/1 Peter Pan
2 $1/2 Cheerios snack mix

Total OOP: $2.77


The bagger was flabberghasted. He was actually kind of making a scene about it (in a good way). I told him coupons were worth it. I walked out with 3 bags full of stuff for $2. I plan on donating the PB to my church food pantry and the Carvers to the humane society. Such a deal!!!

I'm going back tonight for more!!!!

I got the Carvers coupons on eBay because they didn't come in any of the papers around here (Wisconsin). They expire this weekend though.
