Cake Which reusable bags to get?

Any one have any thoughts? My b-day is coming up, and I want to ask hubby to buy me some reusable shopping bags. I need them to be compact, and tough. I would also like them to be pretty! Very Happy

I have done some googleing, and narrowed it down to these three:

Acme Bags- like the basic-ness of these, and that the storage bag is attached to the inside. But they only come in 3 colors.
Acme

Envirosax- love that these roll up small, and all fit in its own bag of 5, which should accommodate most any trip to the store. These are also pretty.
Envirosax

Baggu- love the look of these, and all the fantastic colors.
Baggu

Any thoughts?

I love the Meijer bags. They are the most durable in my opinion and they are only 1.00

The Bed Bath and Beyond bags are HUGE (they hold about 5 grocery bags worth of stuff) and are perfect for lots of light things. They are 1.99. They are black and say BB&B on them, but they do the job really well

I love the WAGs bags because they are GREEN, my favorite color. I also like Walmart's new frozen food bags, they are only $1.50....

I have some of the ones like the other choices from over TWENTY years ago made from the rip stop material (from a FL organic store) and I STILL use them...

Also, this old post came up at the bottom, I don't know if it is still active but worth a shot!

Those envirosax are pretty. Too bad there so expensive.

My favorite bag is the one from Aldi but it isn't compact, its actually very big. I have mostly the $1 ones from Shaws but I don't think they are durable enough.

I was thinking that since it is a bday present, my hubby will spend the extra dough! I really wanted something compact, the walmart ones are so bulky, it takes up to much room in my van, these fold up sooo small!

I love the Envirosax. I have had them a year and they are by far more durable than most of the other stores. I have already gone thru 2 of the CVS bags and 3 Walgreens bags that have fallen apart or gotten holes in them so stuff will fall out.

I could swear that I posted a reply to this, but I don't see anything. Weird...

I have heard wonderful things about ChicoBag.com - Curb your consumption but I don't own any of them myself.

All the bags I carry were either free or I made them from scrap material.

The best bag that I own in from Home Depot. It's the bright orange bag with black clips. The clips go on either side of your shopping cart and you can just toss everything in. It's always my bag of choice when I'm only running in to get a few items. It's big, so it could get pretty heavy. It's also only $1.

check out some of these: Etsy :: Search Results

most are made from recycled scrap material instead of new material from a store shelf too!

I personally love the Target ones that are $1.49. They fold up into about 6 inches square and they are really big and sturdy.
