Good Deal Angie! I am going there this afternoon provided my cheerio coupons I ordered from the coupon clippers come in. I am also going to get some oatmeal to get the 3 dollars back. There is old fashioned or quick oats for 1.50 and I believe coupons for 1.20(.60 doubled) and 5 items = 3 dollars. And I need to get pizza rolls. Cheap GE shopping. Plus Fuel Perks!

I know that this is going to be a stupid question. I just started shopping at Giant Eagle. I went with coupons and my coupons were not doubled. It didn't say anything on the coupon about not doubling, and I didn't ask because I only had a couple at the time. I looked it up on-line and read how the temporarily suspended the program, but started it again. But I thought that they only ran the program until the end of the September. I'm just confused. Can someone please tell me how it works? I live in Ohio (eastern suburb of Cleveland). Thanks.

hmmmm~~if you didn't get double coupons I would call the store you shopped at and ask if they double the coupons up to $.99~~if they say yes, I would explain that your coupons were not doubled on your last trip and see what they can do to fix it. It's automatic by the register so i don't understand why it wouldn't double unless the store does not partipate in the program.

I actually had this happen to me once. I went to the service desk and they gave me back my money. They told me that your advantage card needs to be swipped before your coupons or else they won't double them. So maybe that happened to you.
