Update, not really impressed with the very small samples of soap, considering you pay $1.00 each to "offset" shipping cost for them. I ordered 4 samples and paid $4.00 total. The actual shipping cost .75 cents!!

So I don't consider this a "free" sample considering they made $3.25 off of my very small "free sample order"

I did , but I also ordered some other stuff, so I did not realize the price of the shipping was only going to be .75! WTH! I will send an email also! Thanks for pointing this out. However there soap is really good, I have been using it for a long time and I love it! They will also send you some really good coups and email offers.

How big is the sample soap? Is it really worth $1. I'm going to be bummed if I do it and end up with some tiny soap

I understand your frustration with the samples. But there is something that
you need to understand before you get upset with me. I never intended to
send out free samples to the masses. The website had a listing for "a" free
sample if you were interested in sampling the soaps before you made an
actual purchase. Someone out there came across my website and took it upon
themselves to post my listing on those FREE samples websites. Not just one
but ALL of them. Within a few days I had received over ONE THOUSAND
requests for FREE soap samples.

You can only imagine the shock when I began to experience the tidal wave
that had hit my email's inbox. People were not requesting one sample, they
wanted one sample of each of the 5 scents I offer. Do the math on
that...3-5 samples of soap,the envelope, the postage...the numbers are
quite staggering. I thought that I would put the offer out to send me a few
bucks if people wanted the samples.

I never forced anyone to send me money. The whole thing was purely
voluntary on your part. I sent an email to every single person that wanted
a sample. I gave them the chance to send one dollar per sample if they were
still interested. Most never sent anything but quite a few were interested
enough to send money to help offset the cost of the soap, envelope, postage
etc...

I thank you for your business...I thank you for taking an interest in our
soap...that is why I sent you a coupon good for 10% off any purchase you
make from my company website. I figured that I could give you something for
the money you sent me.

I am sorry if you feel that you were taken advantage of. That was not my
intention at all. This was not a profit making thing for me. I think that
with the cost of everything I barely broke even as it was.

You asked if I had ever used one of the samples of the soap in the shower.
The answer is yes...I have actually used the sample size in the shower. It
is just what it says that is...a sample. You try it out (in this case...the
one time) and then if you like the scent and the way it feels on your skin
you use the 10% off coupon and you buy the full sized version of the soap.

I understand the concept of having a business and needing customers to run
my business. You say that I have a customer in you...for that I thank you.
I want you to feel good about my company and at this point I seem to have
angered you.

Would it make you happier if I sent you a full sized bar of our soap
ABSOLUTELY FREE?

I could ship it out to you within the next day or two and you could take a
bunch of showers with the soap and get a real idea of just how good our
soaps are. Then, if you are convinced of our soap as well as our
service...you could use that handy 10% coupon and purchase more.

to have customers, well that is what you got! Well what I got was a
crappy soap sample! Hardly even big enough to use in the shower ( Have you
tried to use one of these in the shower? If not, I hope you take time to
do so! It was fun! ) I could have taken the $4 and went to my local
farmers market and purchased at least 2 bars of organic soap, or I could
have went to your web site and purchased a "real" bad of soap! I am truly
displeased with your product, and I hope this is not the usual way you
conduct your business and I also hope this is not the standard quality of

Okay I will stop littering this site with all of the emails I have recieved from this guy, but I just wanted to let you all know that I just received another email from him apoligizing for his "sense of humor" ( yeah HAHA!) and he a offered to send me a free bar of soap for my frustration!

I agree, you know if he had just said "samples are a dollar each" then I would not have a problem with it. I would chalk it up to a learned experince.

But he clearly states the $1.00 is to offset his shipping cost. I ship items out all the time, and I never take advantage of my customers by charging high shipping.

Please don't follow in our over charged shipping foot steps avoid this website.
