I just realized there is a family dollar a couple miles from my house. I'm going to check it out this week. Anyone have any general tips? From this forum it looks like you can do pretty good on cleaners and shampoo, but do they sell food too?

I did see on their web site it looks like Palmolive 16 oz is 90 cents which will make it 40 cents after a $1/2 coupon. I was going to get Palmolive this week at CVS but this is even better.

Any other tips? Should I just bring my binder and look for deals?

Family Dollar does sell some frozen food and a lot of your packaged items, condiments, chips, sodas, stuff like that!

The best thing to do is bring your coupon binder and just walk along! You'll soon find there are great deals to be had at Family Dollar!

We just got one of these stores here. I've only been there once, not too interested because I didn't realize they accepted manu Q's. I will definitely have to check into this.

Does anyone know if the Q policy is company wide or a YMMV kind of thing??
