I went to 2 of my usual CVS today and they both had a brand spankin new scanner!!! I was so happy, I scanned immediately and got coupons. I told the manager at one that I was so happy to see them and he gave me a weird look. . Then I told DH and he looked at me funny too. So I know you guys will understand my joy!!

I understand!! That's what great about AFC - we have people who understand us, when no one else does! My store just got 1 last month, and I was like a giddy kid!! Yeah for you!!

Congrats!! Now if only the scanner would spit out something other than $1.00 off vitamins and $2.00 off CVS Brand. But I guess that is better that $1.00 off CVS Paper towels and !.00 off two nuts!!

I love that scanner. I scan my card each time I go in just to see what it gives me.

Look around the store.... for a box like machine.. typically with a sign above it .. check price here or something like that... if you scan your card you get coupons.. I have seem them attached to the support pillars in the middle of the aisles.. up at the fronts of stores, etc.. there is no one set spot..

Post what store you shop at though and maybe someone can help you out....

I had the same reaction. I practically did a little happy dance in the aisle when my closest store finally got one.

thats awesome for you we went out of town this weekend and actually found one (actually hubby found it and said as soon as we walked in the door theres your scanner thing hunny ) Then when we went to the one that is the next town over he spotted the new one right away and I was so happy ( me doing the happy sance in cvs) I havent had a chance to check out store yet but I am going today. Maybe they are putting them in all the stores that dont have them?

Too bad it doesn't have one of those pull arm thingies on the side of it.

The scanner at my store only scans for prices... the other day I saw paper coming out of it and almost had a heart attack right there. The manager passed and said not yet but soon, when you see it say scan your card....I can't wait...
