I currently purchased 3 of the Lifestyle (maybe it is called Freestyle) meters and paid 10.00 each and recieved my 10.00 back! Well I mailed two of the rebates off one day (in seperate envelopes) and the next day I mailed off the third one! This has been like 3 weeks and today I checked my mail and lookie lookie... A check from the rebate center. So I am expecting 10.00... no 40.00!!!! I was AMAZED!!! I even circled it on my reciept how much I paid and all before I sent it in!!! This is my first time doing a rebate so my question is...did they combine my rebates..and accidently added another 10.00 one?? or is that for one meter?? Just kind of confused!! I definetly appreciate any suggestions yall may have!!!

I was so suprised. you'll probably get the other 2 rebates too because, I only sent one and got the 40.00. cross our fingers hope you get it. I was first skeptical about rebates but not anymore I have had great outcome , and have allready made easily 100.00 in the past 2 months doing them. and I always make sure that it doesn't cost me any oop to get the far items first, so PROFIT woohoo!!! I just sent out 3 more meter rebates I hope I get the 40.00 each again. anyways , GOOD LUCK!!

When you send out the rebates do you just circle the price of the item?? Do you black out how much you paid total for all of your shopping or the coupon that you used?? Or do you just circle the item amount and that's it?? Just wondering because most of use get it free an dhave a VERY low OOP for the total on the receipt. Didn't know if that would matter.

I did circle how much I paid and no I did not black out what I paid. I am not sure why I got a 40.00 check but, heck I am not complaining as long as it is all legit!!!

if the rebate limit is up to $40 and the sale price was $10, there is something wrong in the processing of this rebate. I bought the freestyle lite @ 9.99 and got 9.99 check, not $40.

I did not block out anything , and I did circle the price , my oop was 0.00, still got the 40.00.
I only crossed out the section where they ask you additional info on the rebate form.

I bought 4 of these in May and sent in the rebates about 6 weeks ago. I still haven't received anything or heard anything. This is my second bad experience with a rebate. Walgreens lost my May rebate for $12 and told me if I didn't have copies that they couldn't do anything about it. Don't know why this stuff happens to me!

Girls, I was going to pick one up today but do they have the rebate forms in the store or where do I get one?

the rebate form is inside the box. you also have to cut the UPC number and submit it together with the CRT and MIR form.

rapchef2, I suggest the next time you do a rebate,

make sure to scan your submission (no need to print copies) in the event it gets lost in the mail. it has happened to me previously and the mfr requested me to fax to them a copy of the submission so that saved me a stamp and envie. I got my check in 2 weeks.

I second the scan and save instead of copying. Wow, $40 for a $10 OOP. I got one glucometer rebate denied because my OOP was zero because I stupidly used ECB. I was annoyed, but a lesson learned. I have a few rebates for glucometers I am waiting on now. I have an excel spreadsheet going on how much, from where, etc, and when I sent and receive it. HTH.

my scanned rebate submissions are filed in MY Pictures. When I write the filename, I include the date when I mailed it.

example: Freestyle lite $9.99 June 8

This gives me reference when 8 weeks is up and haven't received my check. Soon as I receive my check, I delete the file. Its been working well for me, have not lost a single rebate.

i sent several in together and got $10 for some and $40 for some and missing a couple all on the same day so it looks like a processing error by somebody processing

don't expect $40 just what you paid

I sent 2 in about a month ago...separately. It is also my first time doing a rebate, since it was all cut and dry. I can only hope I get the $40 per rebate, but sure will be happy w/just the $9.99 as I paid 0 ...
