Question about overages

It seems like some stores will scan the coupons and allow the overages while others either refuse to accept the coupon or adjust the price. What are the rules on this? It seems unfair for the stores to get paid the face value of the coupon if they are adjusting the prices down.

true, but obviously if a store does adjust the price down then I'm getting the product for free to start with.Yes, you are right because the clearing house just scans the coupon and does give the store the price that says on the coupon.I look at overages as a bonus and either way I am happy because some stores won't let you have the product if it is less then the coupon.
