Is there anything official anywhere that says Harris Teeter excepts 2 coupons for an item if it is BOGO?

HT doesn't have a *true* BOGO policy. They ring up 1/2 each so you can use a Q for each. HTH!

They gave me grief about it the last time I tried to use 2 coupons. ;(

Well just tell them that the items ring up 1/2 price each so you are in reality paying for each of them so you can use a coupon for each.

My HT will not allow two Q's for BOGO. It specifically states in their policy on their website (in the first paragraph, I believe) that they accept only 1 Q for BOGO free items. HTH.

So its ok for them to basically advertise a false deal (since BOGO is not really BOGO, its 1/2 price each), but I cant use 2 q's! I never have a problem at mine so far tho, so hopefully that will continue.

I think if you are paying 1/2 price for each item you should be able to use 2. You are actually paying for 2 items.

I completely agree. They used to charge full price for the first item and 0.00 for the second. Then they changed to charging 1/2 price for each, so I assumed then you could use 2 Q's. Boy, was I wrong. My HT checks very closely on the BOGO items. I would love it if you could use 2 Q's. It would save me a lot of extra trips to the store!

They keep changing their policy.

When the BOGO items rang up full price & $0 -- their written policy said "one coupon per BOGO set"

Then, when they changed the register so BOGO rang up 1/2 price each, they changed the written policy to allow 2 coupons per BOGO set.

My question for those of you who have problems: When you use a $$/2 coupon, do they give you grief?

And my only suggestion = buy only one of the item and use one coupon. Unfort, this means multi-trips to the store.
