Giant is buying the stores in Southeastern PA!

I know, I know......sorry was just giving the heads up. It wasin our local paper today (Giant is HQed in a suburb of Hbg.)

Giant bought all but 8 which will be run by another company. C&P Wholesalers I think. I know nothing about them, but they will have the New Hope store. I am very sad.

Wonder what will happen here in Quakertown- we have a Giant and a Clemens maybe 3 miles apart?? I guess time will tell

Wow- it says Quakertown will be opperated under the Giant name- wonder if they will be closing it then since We just got a brand new Giant about a year ago?? Or maybe they will just keep it as a Clemens but owned by Giant- I guess we will find out.
