She was in one line and me in another. I had 2 carts, she just had a few things. It took her much longer, which she will post after she calms down a bit. As i was going by her line, i noticed there was a small crowd gathering, trying to disperse the crowd before she started to scream. I went up and asked if they were selling tickets to watch. It was the Clemens cashiers that were watching, not customers. I waited outside to hear the rest of the story.....................Come on Maryann, please post the story..........................

A lady at my store was in a large argument about the Crest Toothpaste (you didn't travel down to Lionville MaryAnne, did you?). She got a bunch of them that were the same type,size&flavor as the ones noted on sale for $.99 but hers had Scope samples in them - and the ones on sale were the noted as the ones with the Glide sample in them. She finally got them for the sale price. I had a fun time with the triples... it was hard controlling myself though and not getting things that were uneccessary but were a good price... Ended up getting $353.xx for $109.xx, and that with my trip to Acme on Friday of $115.xx for $9.xx made for a good weekend...

cashier starts futzing w/ my coupons before even scanning one item fine
5 min later she starts scanning items and then scanning coupons w each item I am getting impatient but still trying to help her ie: matching a coupon to an item
(lets move this along) well then it gets better (doesnt it always LOL)
she breaks out a pen and paper. Seem barb, 17 years of customer service, is worried about overage and starts subtracting and adding on paper so that i dont get any overage well I was not about to have this I do not trust barb's math any more than i trust my own. This is when clutter queen commented on her way out. Lucky her we have not gotten through 1/3 of my order yet. Monica's comment flustered barb, 17 years of customer service, and so she had slowed down even more and the borrowning and carry the 1 got very confusing. Barb needed a break(another one bites the dust). The manager had to finish my order.
Bottom line it took the team 24 min to check me out and that does not include initial futzing time I was hot hungry and cranky but held it together during all this. What an ordeal went home ate had a nap then off to the movies.
The lesson I learned from this adventure
CLEMENS IS GONNA RUN TRIPLES ONCE A MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
