Back in June, I bought a Garmin StreetPilot C330 from Circuit City for $299. The salesman convinced me to buy a 4 year protection plan for $79.99, too. He said that instead of paying Garmin $75 each year to update the maps, I could just bring the StreetPilot back to CC and exchange it for a new one, which would have new maps. I just realized that the C330 was no longer being advertised, so my husband went to CC today to see if he could get a new one. Sure enough, CC didn't have it - but they gave him the next model up, the C340, at no charge! And they extended the protection plan for another 4 years! So for our original outlay of under $400, it looks like we have a lifetime supply of updated StreetPilots!
