Oh this is awesome!!This week eckard and rite aid both have most items on sale plus coupons for more off.

I am soooooo mad about this stupid thing..... I got this returned back to me because I didn't buy Colgate Total toothpaste. DARN...that is $10 lost.

That stinks! That happened to me over the summer with a the $10 Pepsi rebate and I was flipping out...

I participated in this same rebate program a year ago (2005), and got a letter saying that I didn't include all of the required UPC codes with my rebate submission. Meanwhile, I know for a FACT that I had included all the required stuff, as I even had my wife go through the envelope to double-check it all. Plus, my receipt showed that I purchased everything. So I went to Colgate's website, clicked on "contact us"and filled out a form-email explaining what happened. I got an email message back from them the same day apologizing for the inconvenience. I had a check within the week. And I sent the lady a digital picture of all the stuff I had bought, sitting on my counter, with the UPC's torn off.

Point is, Colgate seems pretty cool, and seems to understand that their rebate submission process is cumbersome at best. So maybe, if you try sending a note to them, you might get some leniency.
