I would go back to Bestbuy and have them give you your $5 for buying both! If you read the coupon it says to buy the DVD and the movie so you have to do it in the same transaction..sounds like you got a cashier that can't read well.

I only bought the movie but I just called CS and they said that I couldn't use the coup and get the gc, it was one or the other.

See that's not right or fair. That coupon is a Manuf coupon not a BB coupon. The deal is a BB deal not a manf so if it was me I would argue the point til I was blue in the face. Because the coupon nor the ad says that you can't use them both. Sounds like they are just making up stuff to me.

I just got back from Best Buy and they let me use the $5 Q and get the gift card. When they scanned the Q it came up $0.00 so the manager told the cashier to enter it manually.

hmmm...i might call tomorrow and see what they tell me... or should i just go and try it. when i was buying the movie and game today the peelie was still on the dvd and i asked the cashier if i could use it on this purchase...he said no, one or the other. maybe thats what i did wrong..

I was not allowed to use the coupon last night at BB. The coupon DOES state "may not be combined with any other coupon OR offer." I argued with the manager that it was a MF coupon and their deal was independent of that but he basically told me that it was not open to argument and I had to pick one or the other. I chose the GC and kept the coupon so I could post what it said here.
