Stepmom has requested the Victoria's Secret body cream in Freesia and needless to say that scent has been discontinued. Anyone know of an acceptable substitute or where I can scavenge up a bottle?

I don't know how close these would be but b&bw use to have a freesia scent.
You might check them out???Is it the scent she is after or the texture of the body lotion? because VS"s lotions are thicker than most i think

I bought a bottle from B&BW, but I thiink it is the texture as well as the scent she wanted. GRRRR - Why do they have to discontinue frangrances? Can't even find it on Ebay.

VS and BBW lotions come out of the same factory ~ Inti-brands is the company which is under the Limited Corp umbrella.

The textures should be nearly the same ~ but I do know they tried too vary VS scents from BBW so that they wouldn't be competing with themselves.

I worked for VS and we were connected to BBW. I don't know which one, but one was a base of Freesia and had other scents as topnotes. The other was basically straight Freesia.

I would write/e-mail the company or get an 800 number from your VS store. They do bring the scents back occasionally for Limited Editions. The products have a 3 year shelf life ~ so they encourage people to buy up a couple of years worth then they won't make it again for 3 years!
