Stacking Coupons

I keep hearing about people stacking coupons. How does this work? Can you use more than one coupon per item?

The only places that I know of that you can stack coupons is Walgreen's and Target. They will let you use their in store coupon along with a manufacturer coupon. Basically the store coupon is a "sale". You can print target coupons and use them with the manufacturer and at Walgreen's they have an easy saver book with coupons in there that you can combine with the manufacturer coupons. I don't have a Rite Aid here but I think maybe they have a booklet like Walgreen's. I hope this had helped you.

Do you mean using 2 coupons at the grocery for 1 item?

Example using a B1G1F coupon with a $1 of?. It's a YMMV thing. Sometimes you can sometimes you can't. I have had both happen at the same store. I would say its more the cashier than the store. HTH's

No one can tell you for sure. You have to go in and try it. If it doesn't work try again with a different cashier. I don't think your "allowed to" techincally but it does work sometimes for some people.

well,it's kinda like
quaker and tropicana
there are 1.00 off coupons on tropicana O.J.
and there are 1.00 off coupons on quaker stuff
there also is a 2.00 off when you buy tropicana O.J. and quaker
I'll get both items and use all 3 coupons.
I really don't like this coupon tho, because It does say not to be used with any other coupon

or the 1.50 off jif, smuckers, and ziploc
buy all 3 and use individual coupons for each and then use the 1.50 off. It's gonna beep, but if the cashier will take it,then A,O-KAY

using 2 of the same coupon on one item is not permissable

I don't prefer to use the word stacking,I like to refer to it as COMBOS,
would you like a combo with that grocery purchase you are making there? How about upsizing them?"NO THANKS,I prefer to buy the smaller sizes on sale, because I have a dozen and a half coupons and they'll be free"

I've been told at Kroger (by a cashier) & have also seen someone talking about it on RC...that you can use a peelie with a newspaper coupon or Catalina coupon. I don't remember which combo I did, but it went through the computer just fine. Since they're both mfr. coupons, I don't know why it works, but it does & at least Kroger seems to be ok with it. YMMV!

Every once in a while, you will see a coupon that DOESN'T say "one per purchase" - I'm thinking maybe Gerber is one???? Then, supposedly, you can use more than one - I think I tried it once with Gerber, and I think it worked, but I actually forgot about it & haven't done it since (it was a while ago). I've heard that commissaries used to be the best place for stacking, but I think I also remember hearing that they won't let you anymore. All this is rumor of course!
