| I Handed in my Resignation Today!! UPDATE! I am sitting in my office cube right now with the biggest smile on my face! TODAY IS MY LAST DAY!!!! AND I closed on my house 8/8/08 (what a date to pick, I know I will never forget it!) and moved in last weekend. I am still deciding on what song to play on my way home from "work". LOL First Post:As I sit in my office cube right now, I have the biggest smile on my face.  Why? About an hour ago, with my eyes closed, I hit the [Send] button and off went my resignation letter to my manager. Just minutes ago, I got off the phone with the attorney... we are all set to clear on the closing of my first house TOMORROW! So, after 10 yrs of working in the corporate world, I quit my job to go to Cosmetology School (start 9/22/08) and I am purchasing my first home TOMORROW! Could life be any better than this!!!! | Congratulations that's awesome! Good luck at cosmetology school, I am assuming that has been your passion but you haven't been able to pursue it or been in a position to pursue it until now. What a great feeling!  |
