Don't print in all caps -- that is interpreted as yelling.

When listing items/coupons for trade -- make it a list, not a paragraph: easier to read.

When listing freebies, special offers from companies, printable coupons; please do a quick search first to make sure the information has not already been posted. Use the SEARCH button at the top of the page and type in a key word. Do not check "Search titles only" - that will greatly limit your search and possibly result in missing a matching post.

Please make your titles as specific as possible~ it helps other members find your thread or keep from duplicating your thread

Never put the word "PRINT" in the title of your thread. For some odd reason, when you put the word "PRINT" in the title, the thread posts differently. One can read it, just can't edit it or reply to it.

Thanks Lynda...I got in the bad habit of typing in all caps when I had the broken wrist, it was so easy to do it that way. I'll try to remember not to do it anymore.

another thing is I know i reposted something last week about Food Lion..well i typed in Food Lion..it didnt bring anything up..so i figured it hadnt been posted..then i saw yesterday that someone had posted it as FL..so could we also try not to abbreviate in titles?

I have also noticed alot of reposts and expired contests/ deals lately....... Please make sure you 1: check to see if the deal you are posting is still good, and 2: make sure it's not a repost!!!

When I do a search, I find that people may use a different name for the same subject area. So is this why posts are ending up all over the place?

I don't know if I understand your question 100%.

There is no list of one-word topics. Sometimes the same offer can end up in 2 different forums b/c either one would work. Thus someone searches the freebie forum for X and doesn't find it, so she posts the offer. Another someone searches the Kroger forum for X (b/c the freebie offer is sponsored by Kroger), doesn't find it, posts the offer in Kroger.
