Does anyone out there do Medical Transcription. I am looking into taking a course and was wondering if anyone had any advice.

My SIL and I both took a course at home and it was so easy to do but the problem is finding a job is harder than what they lead you to believe that it is. WE did this 6 years ago and neither one of us was ever able to find a job. Yeh there are some companies out there that hire but they all wanted experience. We could never find a company that would hire a newbie. So in both of our personal opinions and our husbands it was a waste of money since we never could do anything with it. Just our opinions though.

I work from home as a medical transcriptionist and love it, especially with 4 small kids under the age of 7! It took me about 8 months to go to school and within a couple of months of graduating, I had a job. I did not keep that job due to a bad fit with schedule and such, but 3 companies later, I am with teh perfect company for me! Let me know if you have any questions or just need some advice!
