If you are going to be doing any back to school shopping, eating out or just need to buy some gas, I think this is an excellent deal on gift cards that is going on at Winn Dixie right now.

If you buy:
$50.00 of gift cards you receive $5.00 off your purchase
$100.00 of gift cards gets your $15.00 off your purchase or
$300.00 of gift cards you get $50.00 of your purchase

You can mix and match gift cards, but there are a few exclusions like no Winn Dixie gc, phone cards, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express gc and maybe a few more exclusions. My husband and I were about to need some gas, so I bought 2- $50 Exxon gc ($100 total) and paid $85.00 for them.

yes, I bought $200 in gas cards and $100 in restaurant cards tonight, so $300 total, and only had to pay $250 I had to fill up my Suburban tonight anyway, which ate up $100of the gift cards already. I am considering going back for more!

I think Exxon and BP were the only gas cards my WD had, but it is a small WD, so some of the larger stores might have a larger selection.

Honestly though, even if you just do the buy $50 and get a $5 discount, that is a 10% savings. Our gas, is around $3.50 a gallon here right now, so with that $5 savings, it averages out that I'm actually paying $3.15 a gallon. That is a .35 a gallon discount, so unless your Exxon station is .35 a gallon more than your cheaper stations, you will still save with this deal.

Of course, if you go with the bigger savings deal of buying$300 worth of gift cards for $250, that will be around a 17% savings, so in my case, instead of paying $3.50 a gallon, it would be like paying around $2.90 a gallon.
