Okay so passing but my Target & seen a sign for a winco food "coming soon" - now a lil thing about Vegas there can be a "coming soon" sign for 5yrs! So just wondering if anyone may know if this is true!?
Also how are the sales?? I live in the land of no doubles so very hopeful that might change with this chain (fingers crossed - a girl can dream)

there is one coming soon in my area also (so. cal.) and it really is going up fast. I want to know more about there policies also.

Win-Co does not double but the prices are so good most of the time that its a great shopping option. I go between Win-Co and Albies for just about everything.

No, not true but if the coupon does not scan expect a fight. I learned to simply walk away and deal with it. They have printable coupons for GM and Coupons.com from the Wincofoods.com web portal. Look for green shelf tags as they are items on sale.

There's one on Decatur & 215, next to Target and it was on the news that they're hiring. I'm excited about a new chain coming in. The only thing that would excite me more is if they would double coupons! We reeeeealy need double coupons here in Vegas! I heard they have a nice bulk food department, so I'm looking forward to that. And from the reviews I read online, their prices are good.

My sister lives right down the street from it. I saw that it looks like it will be a biigggg store. Let's keep our fingers crossed that we can double on coupons!!!!

Does anyone know when it is due to open? I love the Winco in WA and with my husband in Vegas alot for VA treatment I am there at least a couple weeks every couple months or so.

I don't know when it's going to open. I drove by it the other day and yes, it IS big! Hopefully it'll open soon. Amanda, it's pretty close to the VA too, so that'll be nice for you. You live in WA and have to come to Vegas for treatment?? My husband was a VA patient, so I'm familiar with it, but we never had to travel beyond our general area for treatment.

sunshine3bby, sure would be nice if they'd double, but seriously doubt that's gonna happen! But if their prices are low enough, it's gonna make it a nice place to shop. I do almost all my shopping now at Walmart with pricematching. It's just amazing the deals you can get on fresh produce, and sometimes meat, by pricematching all the Mexican ads we get (I check about 7 of them online every week before shopping). But I'm most excited about Winco's bulk foods where you can buy just a little of something to try out if you want (like spices, etc.)

If they're out of something, don't be afraid to ask an employee to check their stock in the back - everytime I've asked, they've had more in the back and brought some out for me...you know how it is with hot items, places do tend to run out...they do all their stocking during the night usually so they tend to run out by afternoon of some things

Me too, me too!!!! I "liked" them on facebook today and I wrote on their wall welcoming them to Vegas and told them I live only about 3 miles from the Decatur store and asked if we'll be getting any coupons. They responded saying that yes, I'll be getting coupons on Saturday...and if not, I can get some online.

My next door neighbor delivers soda to that store and he said it's HUGE. He said to just wait till I see their meat dept.!

Did anyone take advantadge of the couponon the rj? The peelies? I peeled mine and lost it. I think it was 10 off 25 purchase? Anybody go yet? Sounds like were all neighbors because that's close to me.

It's actually a $5 off $25 and it expires this Sat. There was one on the RJ the past two Sundays.

Yes, I went to the store and was very impressed. They even have mfr coupons taped to some of the products. The employees were all very helpful. Their bulk food section was amazing!

Have you noticed that some of the local grocery stores, including Walmart, have signs in their stores comparing their prices with WinCo? I think they must all be shaking in their boots, afraid of losing business to WinCo. I noticed that WM lowered their milk prices since WinCo opened . Yes, competition is GOOD!!!

Maybe you know someone else who gets the paper? The coupon wasn't just on the home delivered papers...I saw it on the papers that were sold in WAGS. I wonder if some of the stores might happened to have some of their Sunday papers left??? If so, they may just let you take the coupon if you ask.

I hope they do release the $5/$25 coupon again. That was a nice coupon in conjunction with the grand opening coupons in the flyer they mailed out.
