Hi new here and I saw someone post that their publix honored their albertsons buy one get 2 free ribs. I was wondering if this is a general policy or a random thing by store. My publix manager said he honors albertsons and winn dixie coupons. I figured it was just the $5.00 off ones not these. Im wondering if its worth driving to pick up the flyer and give it a try.. It would be great for dh's shift at the FD for the guys..

Publix will take any coupons from a store that your location considers a competitor. If your Publix honors Albertson's qs, it should honor the rib deal. Sometimes special wording can throw it off. One time, I wanted to get some shrimp with a similar q. But Publix didn't have that size in stock, so no deal for me.

My publix will honor most of the meat coupons from Albertsons. Since I don't have an Albertsons close by, I emailed them and asked to have a flyer mailed to me. It took about 8 weeks to start getting it, but now boy am I glad, this week it has another 5/50 and b1g2 petite sirloin steaks, b1g2 country bone and b1g2 seasoned pork chops, I probably won't be able to use the chops but the others I will. Getting my freezer stocked for all the summer bbq's!!

Does Albertsons actually have coupons, or do you need to bring in their flyer to Publix?

You have to take the coupons from the flyer to the store.

Since we no longer have an Alberstons, how do I obtain an Albertsons flyer? I dont see coupons on line in their ad. do I need to bring the whole flyer to Publix and if so HOW do I get one, when they are all closed in my area?

Lisa --- if you dont have an albertsons near you I would call and ask if your PUBLIX will even allow first before going thru the trouble of getting the flyers -- some will take them some wont --- but I simply sent a request via email to them telling them i wanted their weekly sales flyer delivered to my home ... most publix stores will only accept a competitor that is in the area ------ so again ... call and check first --- HTH! it is worth it if your publix will allow on average when i use all 3 in a week i get $40 worth of meat for FREE !!!!

I jsut called and they do accept Albertsons they need the coupon...HOw do I get that, do I need to email Albertsons to send me a weekly ad? THanks!

Email Albertsons and they will send out the flyers. It does take awhile to start getting them, but well worth it. I have used their meat coupons several times at both Publix and Sweetbay and they even have a $5/50 occasionally.

i dont think the in store ad has the coupons, correct me if i'm wrong, but i think it's only the mailed ones. i use these coupons at publix every week and have never had any problems. hth! =)
