I asked about it at the Jenkintown, PA (right outside of Philly) store, and the woman working the customer service desk said that the store does allow stacking, unless the coupons themselves won't allow it, which, she said, is pretty rare. I used manu and store qs together on that shopping trip, and it worked perfectly.

Whole Foods in Tustin, CA allows stacking.

Here are the two booklets I have. The larger one is The Whole Deal, Whole Foods newsletter that sits in the front of the store. The smaller one is a Mambo Sprouts booklet that I picked up from Sprouts but may be found at other stores.

This may sound like a silly question, but is there a place to find Whole Foods coupons online to stack?
I checked "The Whole Deal" pdf on their site here: http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/prod...deal/index.php but it only has three Whole Food coupons.

The reason I ask this is because Wild Oats, part of Whole Foods, does not carry this full pamphlet.

My store will only allow one Whole Value coupon per transaction- not per item. For example I had two of the same Qs ($/1) and could only use one even though i wanted to buy 2 products. I had to do a seperate transaction to use the second Q. Pretty lame.

sugarloaf10- I had a cashier tell me that too and I was a little shocked since it does say 'per purchase'. She called a supervisor over and she said it was fine and pushed them through. Some cashiers can push them through too- I guess if they've worked the customer service desk?

Petaluma, CA store stacks. I just got an e-mail back however I am a bit confused. The last quetion I asked was if I could use a BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale or whole foods coupon and she wrote back (I'm paraphrasing)"I am happy to say the answer is YES to all of your questions....regarding the last question. We do not limit BOGO sales. If you have a manufacturer's coupon you may want to use it at a later time.". So then the answer is yes to all but that question? Or...huh? I have to e-mail her back.

The north/arboretum area Austin, TX store does allow stacking. After 10 or so coupons (MQ or WF) a manager has to use a key to push them through. I've never had a problem, yet.

I am not to sure about the downtown location as I don't shop there often.

The Atlanta GA store on Briarcliff DOES allow stacking. I hardly ever shop there because its far away from me, but recently I emailed to verify their coupon policy just the same for future reference. My correspondence with them from February is below:

Hi Sarah,
I enjoyed reading your email and understand how valuable coupons are when staying within a budget. I also appreciate and applaud your decision to purchase organic products, which makes for healthier bodies and a healthier planet.

The Ponce Deleon Avenue store is happy to honor both the Whole Foods Market printable coupons and the manufacturer’s coupons for the items you mentioned. So yes, by all means feel free to “double up” on the coupons wherever you can. Please try to make sure the coupons are within the expiration period, other than this, feel free to shop and use these coupons to your heart’s delight. If you have further questions, just give us a call at the number listed below. Thank you for your question and for your continued business.

Peace and health,

Byron L. Merritt
Customer Service Team Leader
Ponce Deleon Avenue Store

He cc'ed a ton of other Whole Foods email addresses when he sent it to me... I assume shift managers & customer service people?

Oh sorry, it looks like the Ponce store responded to me, not Briarcliff. I just emailed the main corporate "contact us" on their website and they referred it to a store nearby me.

But yeah, definite "yes" on the stacking from an Atlanta area store!

Hi <Name>-
We don't stack coupons here at tanasbourne.
Thanks for your interest.

That store has a Cust Serv manager that's crazy, but this at the moment is their stance.

The 86th st store in Indianapolis is Great... they stacked my Annie's coupons this weekend AND they took my printable Green Genius $2.00 coupons aswell! Was pleasantly surprised! Will be checking out the Carmel Indiana one next.

oh, yeah, and they also took multiple store coupons too. I used a Whole Foods Annies coupon, a Spectrum coupon and an Clif Z bar coupon all found in the Whole Deal in the front of the store and I didn't have to split up my orders like at other stores. This store is truely a joy to shop at!

The Rochester, MI store does NOT allow stacking. Not only do they not allow stacking but you are not allowed to use more than one coupon of any given kind. ie you have 3 Stoneyfield yogurts but you still are only allowed to use 1 q. Totally a lame policy! And I drove over an hour in one direction for that? There is one other about the same distrace or maybe a little further that I should inquire about.

i shop at the one in princeton, nj
i called and they said they DO allow stacking, as long as the combination does not create a negative amount... as in, they won't give you money back.

what she didn't specify is if they would adjust the MQ to the remaining value of the item or would they allow the overage to reduce the cost of anything else you're buying. i'm going to have to pay them a visit and experiment

i had the same issue with a Q question i had for another store. the person who answered the phone said that he "didn't think so". even after i asked if he could please double-check.

what i did was pay them a visit to confirm.

i would make a trip and buy celestial tea... there is a store Q out now, and there was one in last sunday's paper.

The one in Chesterfield, MO let me stack tonight (printable $1/1 WF Celestial Seasonings and $1/1 Sunday insert MQ).

They also had no issue with me using both the save $3 on fruit WYB 3 Kashi products with 3 Kashi MQ.

Which one? I went to the one off Yulupa and that was a no go. I went to the one at cottingtown and there were no questions asked so far. The one in Petaluma does (even if some of their clerks don't know it) but they are totally friendly. I really enjoy that one and the one in Cottingtown (can you believe it has a BAR!!!).

Madison, WI store - YES! :)

After years of flip-flopping at my store, I asked at the service desk. I was barely out of the store when the manager I had just talked to emailed me and said "no". So I wrote an email from the WF website asking for clarification. Here's what I got back followed by my note:

Hello –

Thanks for emailing us with your question. You’re right, the coupon policy can be confusing. I appreciate you asking because we were able to clear up a couple misconceptions in our store and Customer Service team in the process. Here’s the scoop:
- We can pair any WFM coupon with a vendor coupon, 1 each, unless otherwise stated (as you noted).
- We can’t stack multiple coupons on to any one item of the same source, such as two WFM coupons and one vendor, or vice versa.
- Our Team Member’s confusion came from the fine print (as usual, right?). You noted that stores must follow the written guidelines on each coupon. We were taking that too far. Most coupons have a limit of ‘one each’ or ‘not in combination with another coupon’. These are to prevent stacking, as in point two. TM’s were reading this point and thinking that they could not take vendor and WFM coupons together, when of course we can as we’re giving that extra discount, not a vendor.

So please, keep an eye out for our coupons in the Whole Deal, especially when you have a nice vendor-issued coupon. Pairing them, 1 each, is fine. And we’ll make sure to retrain our TM’s.

Thanks again! There is a $10 gift card for you under your name at our Customer Service desk, too.

Message:
I recently shopped at this store and was told I could not use manufacturer coupons in conjunction with store (Whole Deal) coupons. I explained to the cashier and the manager on duty that the Whole Deal coupons were not manufacturer coupons (they said that they were, and that using both would be "doubling") and that I had been given the okay to do this many times. I left my email with the manager on duty and shortly after leaving the store I received an email from her confirming what she had told me.

I very much enjoy shopping at Whole Foods, and I use coupons for everything possible in order to make organic products affordable for my family. I love this store and the people who work there are always very friendly and polite. However, I am confused by the inconsistencies in store policy.

Could you please clarify whether or not I can use manufacturer coupons in conjunction with store coupons here?

So, not only did we get a confirmation, but a nice bonus for calling them out on this. Sometimes it pays to be persistent

I finally remembered to ask today b/c I was buying some Udi's GF bread for my BIL. There was a 1.50/1 WF q and a $1/1 MQ making it $2.09. And YES, ma'am we can stack! That's a great deal for a loaf of GF bread! It's WAY cheaper to make your own, but in a pinch...woohoo! Of course, I neglected to ask what other rules there were...I was so excited that they DO in fact stack...I think I forgot my senses!

(I'm in Allen...and my store is the new one in Fairview, TX at 75/Stacy Rd.) Yay!!!!
