Whole Foods opened this weekend and was it ever a scene! Had to fight for a parking space and the grocery isles were elbow to elbow. In spite of that, I was delighted with what I saw. Beautifully arranged produce and delicious smelling do-it-yourself take-out foods. Yum. Oh, and the fish/seafood section was outstanding. I got some wild salmon and smoked trout. And the most beautiful bread. Well I could go on but you get the drift. I thought the prices were a bit high for the specialty items but about par on the regular grocery items. No doubt I will go back when the rush dies down and I can go up and down the aisles checking out everything at my own pace.
