What I hope to get from AFC: To learn all about couponing, rebating, and matching deals... to stay encouraged for the longterm! We have recently paid off our last debt (other than our primary mortgage), and we are working hard to STAY debt-free. This forum seems like a great place to start!!

Hobbies/Interests: I am a holistic midwife -- so birth is my passion! I'm the momma of 3 very active kiddos (17, 13 and 10) and the wife of a great hubby (nearly 21 yrs!). I like to network with others who are into homeopathics, herbs, and organic living. We will be fostering babies very soon; I feel that I especially need to be careful to stay within a budget in this area -- because I love to buy baby things!

the easiest way i learned to get around and be able to navagate is: when i log in i check the box below log in to "remember me" then, hit the button log in. When i get to the home page i then go to NEW POSTS and once that opens, I BOOKMARK that page. (right click on a blank area on that page and choose create shortcut) that will place an ICON on your desktop and so you will only have to click on that ICON to get into AFC You may get this message once you get there "vBulletin Message

Just click on the words NEW POSTS on the top row of page..it will let you in to AFC then You will see on the far right hand colum the word Forum...under that is titles of areas to visit....if you click on any of them in that colum it will bring you just to that specific topic...like say you click on WELCOME MAT and it will bring you too ALL the new people who joined thread! And soo on...to post a in a forum....you will find on the page NEW THREAD word and you can post that way.....to REPLY to a thread already started, you just use thr box at the bottom of the page you are viewing, and it will post a reply to the thread you are replying too.....if you have questions about Rep points and how to earn stars, please click on my links in this message that says HOW TO EARN STARS | ALL ABOUT USER REPUTATIONS...i hope this helps you out some..any more questions please feel free to ask anyone of us on the board. we are all here to help and all have started where you are now! Welcome to AFC!! Please make yourself comfy and jump right in.

Please allow me to point out a few things that you might find helpful...

At the bottom of every page, on the left hand side you will find "Acronyms and Terms used here". If you see a term or abbreviation you are not sure about, you can click that and it will help you find what you need to know.

To navigate AFC, you can click "Forum", (this is found at the top of the page, on the left hand side). When you click there you will be taken to a new page that will give you a list of all the different forums AFC has to offer. Click any forum topic and it'll take you there.

To see all the new chatter that is coming in for all the forums, you can click "New Post" (this is found at the top of the page, on the right hand side). When you click this a new page will open and it will show all the newest threads for the forums as they are submitted.

If ever you have trouble finding your own personal posts (maybe you'd like to go back review that thread or see if anyone responded) you can click "User CP" (this is found at the top of every page, left hand side), a box will scroll down, at the top of this box is "View My Posts". Click this and a new window will open with a list of all your posts.

Giving/Receiving "Thanks" or "Rep" is a fun feature here at AFC. If you see a post that has inspired you, helped you, or given you a moment of pause , you can click the "Thanks" button (located at the bottom of each post; it's blue with a thumbs up picture) this will insert your username at the bottom of their post. This lets them know you appreciate their post. OR If you would like, you can click the "Rep" button (located at the bottom of each post; it's blue with a pencil/paper picture). When clicking this you're given the opportunity to leave a small comment, telling the poster what you appreeciate. They're both a way to show your appreciation, but you can only do one or the other..not both. So, when you see someone's username listed under your post..you'll know you've been "Thank'd" and your post is much appreciated.

One reason we all visit AFC is find coupons that we need. In order to find coupons you are needing you will want to create a Wishlist. In order to create a wishlist Click here: http://www.afullcup.com/forums/wishlists/ A new window will open to the Wishlist forum. You will need to create a "New Thread"; be sure to use your Username in the title for your wishlist.
Create a complete list of the coupons you are searching for. Also, add what stores are avaliable to you, etc. Once you have "submitted New Thread", you will need to copy and paste the url addy to the spot marked wishlist in your specific "details". You will find this by clicking "UserCP" (found at the top of the page on the left hand-side). A box will scroll down, click "Edit Your Details", a new page will open, scroll about 3/4 of the way down and you will see "wishlist". Paste the url for your wishlist here. Then click "save changes" at the bottom of the page. Your wishlist will now appear, for everyone to see, under your username when you post throughout the forum.
