| hello from farm country I am new here, from East central Illinois, near the U of I Not a farm wife, but live in the heart of farm country. As you can see by my name, I am a hotrodmom I drive a cool car, my husband drives a drag car, my oldest son hopes to drive own this coming summer, and my youngets is building a custom motorcycle. The middle child lives in NV and just this past May graced us with a little grandson, so we are traveling a lot to NV to visit with her and her husband and the baby. I have raised all of my family on one income since we married and have couponed before the advent of the WWW--just buy the newspaper and clip away. Things sure have changed in the last 20 years!! Even though we are down to just the three of us at home, I some days have as many as five for dinner--the oldest lives near us with his girlfriend--so I never really know how many for dinner, but that's fine with us!! Looking forward to using this site to the best of my abilities, with some help from a coupon fairy/buddy!!!   |

| Hi,  Welcome to AFC!!  Please make yourself comfy  and jump right in.  Please allow me to point out a few things that you might find helpful... At the bottom of every page, on the left hand side you will find "Acronyms and Terms used here". If you see a term or abbreviation you are not sure about, you can click that and it will help you find what you need to know. To navigate AFC, you can click "Forum", (this is found at the top of the page, on the left hand side). When you click there you will be taken to a new page that will give you a list of all the different forums AFC has to offer. Click any forum topic and it'll take you there. To see all the new chatter that is coming in for all the forums, you can click "New Post" (this is found at the top of the page, on the right hand side). When you click this a new page will open and it will show all the newest threads for the forums as they are submitted. If you have any questions, just holler. We're glad you're here.  |
