If you go to cvs I think they have the better deal this week - 2/9, and if you were scanning your cvs card at the price checker they were printing -2 off any shampoo cond or styler every day. So if you bought 2 you could do -

(2) = 9
-4.50 (b1g1)
-4 ( (2) 2/1 shampoo conditioner styler)
=.50 .....25 cent each !!

Plus I strongly believe the coupon will not work on a twin pack. Yes you are technically buying 2 but itll only have 1 barcode and they want you to literally buy 2 separate items or it'll beep. But if you have a cool Walmart you may get to do it...I'd ask right when I walked in as opposed to possibly getting stuck at the register waiting for a manager who may say no...

I don't believe it specifies any certain kind so it should. I believe it will cover the 2nd item up to $9 so you could buy the big ones too if you wanted. The Cvs deal I mentioned was for the smaller ones.

I am wondering if it is the coupon that is coded this way or if it is the computers at CVS.

I used these at a CVS earlier today - the cashier said that her manager told her the CVS registers are picking up the maximum value of the coupon - $9,49. Her manager said that if that is what the register says, that is what you go by. This is just one CVS store - YMMV. The cashier's manager told her that CVS will get reimbursed $9.49 for each coupon. I also bought some at another CVS and the cashier only took off the correct amount of $6.19. I questioned the cashier at the store about the $9.49 deduction and what I stated above is what I was told. So, there are obviously different interpretations that varies among CVS store managers.

It's actually not supposed to do that. It will if the cash register isn't programmed a certain way and your cashier doesn't check the real price, but it's not a mm a "overage" coupon. It's a "it may happen if you're lucky" situation.
