Today at Walmart on the encap in the grocery section, I found 4 different types of boxed meals marked down to a dollar each. They all have the meat included in the box, and similar items are priced at $2.99. The varieties I found discounted were:
Banquet Homestyle Bakes Creamy Turkey and Stuffing
Banquet Homestyle Bakes Cheesy Ham and Hashbrowns
Banquet Homestyle Bakes Pasta and Meatballs
Helper Complete Meals Chicken and Buttermilk Biscuits
I haven't tried any of them yet but they each serve at least 4, some 5 or 6, so they seemed like a great cheap meal!!!

we tried them a long time ago. I didnt think they seved 4 at all very small portions and they tasted awful. Good deal for you though

We thought the flavor Cheesy Hashbrown & Ham tasted good! $1 is a great deal If u dont like them, but can spare to spend a few extra bucks these would be nice to donate to your church pantry or food bank!

I love the Homestyle Bakes. However, they FAR from feed 4 or more people. The dough usually makes 8 small sized biscuits/dumplings. I'm a girl and can eat 4 of these small things. My husband eats the other 4 and we share the veggies. A buck a piece...I'd buy SEVERAL considering I will pay $4 for these not on sale and with no coupons. $4 for dinner is pretty cheap A buck, I'd do a happy dance!!

Theres 3 of us in the house and we buy the turkey one and the beef stew one. We each get a bowl full(regular size bowl) with a little bit left over. I guess it depends on your definition of portion. Sometimes if somebodys hungrier Ill make mac&cheese to go with it. Hope to find lots of these I pay full price for them so $1 is amazing!
