Yeah, I would definately go back and talk with a manager. If you can't print the coupon policy and you have a smart phone/android take it with you with the coupon policy book marked OR if all else fails ask them for a copy of the policy. They should be able to supply one to you. At the stores here, it is actually on the wall at customer service.

I usually don't take mine with me any more to my local walmart. They all know me and know the policies pretty well now. BUT if I go out of town I know I have to carry one with me.

Walmart has such a high rate of turn-over with the employees that it is hard to get them all trained and stay long enough for them to use the training! Know what the policy states and just stick to your guns.

Last week at another walgreens out of town I had a problem with the Bayer deal and the manager stood there and said there was nothing he could do. He wouldn't honor it. I told him, you will honor it and I said let me call corporate. He asked me to step away from the register and I told him I wouldn't. I said you are helping me and satisfaction guaranteed right? Well I'm not satisfied and my transaction is not complete, so I will stand here and hold up the line until this is resolved. Back in the day I would have been too shy to do that but after all this time having to deal with the incompetance....I have no patience for the ignorance they choose to have with their jobs....Sorry about my little rant!! I got my deal and 3 more after a I started to call corporate then he started to try and get the deal done....Wow wouldn't you know...it worked all he had to do was try! I didn't thank him and I let him know that I would still be calling corporate because he gave me such a hard time about the coupon...before he ever even tried to scan it.

It states right in the policy...

If coupon value exceeds the price of the item, the excess may be given to the customer as cash or applied toward the basket purchase

I went to self check out the coupon beeped the cashier come looked at the coupon and the produce. She said wow and put them threw. I was so excited. I went to kroger this week I looked at prices. The bayer was $2.33 so maybe if the ones of you that went to walmart and it was a no go. Maybe you could try Kroger....

Do you really need to PM them... The everyday shelf price is $2.22 at WM so .78mm with out a Pm

You can still call and verify they do have it in stock. These are the UPC's off the bayer that are priced $2.22..

When I call I ask for a manager from the get go. I ask for one that has a Telxon (Telzon). That is the handheld machine. They can input the upc # and tell you how many they have on hand...on the shelf, in the stock room, and how many are on order. You can also place an order for the amount you need.
I personally perfer to go to the store to order, but sometimes I can't make it to town for a couple of days (we live in the sticks!) so I just phone it in.
When they ask for the upc # tri it without the first single digit (the 3's) and the last single digit first. Just use the 10 numbers in between, sometime the product will show not in the system if you use the 2 end numbers so for instance on the cherry flavor i put 3-12843-13231-3 when calling in omit the first 3 and the last 3 and onlt give them the 12843-13231. I added those only because sometimes (rarely) they need them.

I am going tomorrow for a few more. I forgot abot a trade and got coupons in today. I am going to buy 32 bayer, 60 Powerades (wished I had the $1.00/2!!!), 15 Smartwater, 36 Vitamin Water. I will get everything for free with the overages on coupons and my PM's!!! I can't wait!

I went today and they only had the low dose for 2.22 so i did this:

3 bayer @2.22ea
6 kotex liners @0.94ea
1 box of sandwich bags (to eat up overage)
= $13.88
-3/1 bayer*3
-1.50/2 kotex *3 (natural balance q from 6/24SS i think?)
=0.38 +tax OOP

I was proud of myself because I don't shop walmart often since they always give me problems about coupons. the bayer coupons did beep to verify the $3 amount but the cashier pushed it through

Just left walmart. Coupons scanned for me. Only had 7 left of the orange chewables. I think someone was trying to hide them. They were turned backwards so you couldn't see the name brand. Lol.
