They do give cash, but the general concensus is that they don't necessarily like it. I usually get another item to cover overage. There's always a need for milk or some other staple.

The coupon says one per transaction. So I guess if you have a bunch of the q's be prepared to do a lot of single transactions, not sure how the overage would work unless you group enough to cover each overage.

I got $1.06 overage per q, so I picked items around $1 to go w each box & q per trans (for example, small cans of Pringles, Koolaid Bursters, etc.)

You can always get gift cards. But one Allegra@ $5.94.

Tell the cashier you want a gift car for $1.07.

Total= $7.01
- $7/1 Allegra

Makes it .01.

I am taxes after coupons so I will get the full $1.06 overage not tax. So then after all the transactions go to customer service and get your gift cards combined.

My WM has 2 or 3 shelves for it and they were empty also. Either they sold out (which is believable) or someone bought all of them (also believable). A lady on another board I am on got 19 Allegra at one store so there ya go *sigh*

I spoke with the department manager and he said that the warehouse has been totally out of them, but he does have them on order. He said once the warehouse receives them, it takes 2 days to get it to the store (the coupon will probablu be expired by then). I am hosting my niece's graduation and I wanted to use the overage toward graduation party favors, but they don't have graduation items out yet.

No luck either in N VA stores in a 50 mile radius. HBA Department Manager used their Inventory Control gun to check multiple stores. I will probably bypass this "deal" unless I find some before the MQ expires.

Usually I wouldnt say I lucked out by the q not being In our paper. But I definitely did. I ordered them on eBay planning to stock up. Since we didn't get them theres plenty 5cts all over town.

None at either Walmart I went to; however, the Meijer across the road and the Kroger a few miles up the road had them. Both of those places were within a few cents of WM's price ($5.94).

Yes I get overage on mfg q's when I shop DG....no money back but overage is applied to cart contents.

It is important to note that overage at DG only happens if the coupon scans. If they have to hand-key the coupon they can only discount how much the item rang up at - in this case $6.25. The coupons attach to the item and their registers won't allow the cashier to hand-key a discount for more than the cost of the item.
