I went to walmart today to do a price match on the Gerber Grads 8-pk. of crackers or puffs (Big Lots Ad this week they are $1!!)
Also, if you have any coupons for Gerber (I had 5 .50 off any grad item) the deal is even sweeter! I got 5 boxes for $2.50!

where did you find your coups??

Whenever you send in 10 upc codes from any gerber grad product with the form you can find online, they send you back $5.00 in coupons, and there are a bunch that are .50 off any grad product.

How long did it take you to get the gerber grads coupons? I sent some upcs and the form in probably a month ago and I haven't received any coupons yet. That would be a sweet deal if I could get them SOON!

How did you do the price match? Did you bring the ad and show to the cashier? Or did you do that with Customer service first?

BOOO none at my Walmrt they didnt even have the spot for them....I stopped at big lots to grab an add just in case. Oh well maybe I will check out another walmart

Yeah, I was sad too, my walmart didn't have them either. But I grabbed my coupons & ad since I'm working out of town and pass 3 walmarts!! Wish me luck!! Someone posted a great idea for them with trick-or-treaters when you get the little guys that are too small for candy, these would be great and inexpensive!

i do this all the time. i get the garden mashers free (using the $0.50/1 coupon, doubled at wegmans) and 2 grads jars of apples or peaches free (using the .75/2 coupons, doubled). we have sooo many of the jars of fruit, that i just donate everything and save the UPCs to get more.

UGGGHHHH!!! So I went to a different walmart and they DID have the 8 packs. I had 5 packs and so proud going up to the register. First off, I had a printout of the circular from the internet. That apparently was the first issue. The Cashier was going to do it no problem but felt the adjustment was TOO much since they were priced $3.82 and I wanted them for a dollar. Then she complains about it to the next cashier and says she needs to see her manager. Ok, I think this will be QUICKLY resolved. No, the manager says she can't accept the internet copy and she had to go to customer service to see if they had a circular. Of course, she's taking FOREVER! So I mention to the cashier, "Um, I also have coupons for these...if me getting them for a dollar are you going to refuse my coupons??" and I get..."well, I'm going to have to see if you can use them" after she STUDIES them. She walks over to customer service and after another 10 minutes they come back. She is refusing the coupons because they are black and white which makes them copies....OMG!!! I know I have pregnancy hormones but I swear I visioned myself grabbing both of them and slamming them together. I asked for the coupons and said..."If I wanted them for $1, I would of OBVIOUSLY have gone to Big Lots. You can keep all of your @^$#%$%#, I'll take my money elsewhere." I had other items, I just left it all there, cart and all. I was SO furious...they wasted 25 minutes of my time for nothing...

But then I went to Target for other items and had the MOST wonderful new cashier, he stated he was nervous, it was his first day on register and was so green that he scanned my coupons and gave them back to me. I chuckled and said, "um, you're going to need these for your register to even out" and he took them back and just looked blankly. I told him, they go in the drawer under the register and you could just see his relief...

My Wal-mart wouldn't accept the circular ad! She said that since Big Lots is a discount warehouse, that it wasn't included.

Is this right? Does anyone have a copy of their price matching guidelines?

I just went to my walmart too. They had three of the 8 packs. I new my walmart would want the ad they always do. I had went on to biglots.com and you can print out each page or one item from there ad. It was to good. Walmart also had some of there gerber grad. meals on for $1.00. So I walked out of there with 10 meals, 3 eight packs of cracker, 2 Price match scott tp, and jj meltaway lotion (3.99) totaling before coupons $23.47 after printable coupons and gerber upc coupons it totaled $8.13 I scored

I had to rep you for this one! I went to BL but they were all fixing to expire. I went to all 3 walmarts and cleaned them out (they wer e very low on stock) and price comped to get 12 very in-date boxes. The 3rd cashier did NOT want to give them to me...she even read the fine print in the ad about what states it was valid in and all that jazz. Still, da rules is da rules and she did it. I only wish they had the cracker packs, though...they only had puffs and no spots for the cracker packs even. The crackers would be great to send to preschool with my son in his lunch. Still, can't complain b/c this may be all the puffs I ever have to buy!
